First, if you're starting out try lots of different methods. Pick the RSD boys, the Mystery Method, JC Capital, there a loads of pick up groups. Personal, favorite is RSD Max (The Natural is the absolute bollocks)

If you're at an intermediate level, then pick the mentor you relate to the most and only learn from him. It doesn't help you to hear something from one instructor and then hear the exact opposite from another when you've had someone success.

Second, when you go out write about it. Pick three things you did well, three things you didn't do well and three things you're going to do next time. Even if you successfully pulled, there was still something you could have done better. Remove your ego from your analysis.

Example: I had a one-night stand the other week but I was meet with some much last minute resistance that it wasn't until her friend was making out with my friend that we could get it on.
