So, I used to be a huge "butler" for other people. After reading a few very good books I realized that this is unhealthy behavior and decided to stop whenever I became aware.

Today, two friends were over. They aren't very normal as well I guess, we all smoke weed and we all had a somewhat to very troublesome childhood and/or mentally damaged parents.

We went to the supermarket and I decided to buy a ton of chicken wings and fries. As soon as we were home, my friends ran towards the couch and started smoking. I went to the kitchen and starting cooking, very stoned myself, which prooved to be a very exhausting 1-hour-adventure.

When I was finished, I decided that I had it with their laziness and entitlement and, instead of serving them the food like I had always done (I think the wish to always serve people stems from childhood acceptance problems) I only got food for myself and told them to get theirs themselves.

Boy, did they react angry! First they tried to manipulate me with moral arguments and then they told me to fuck off.

.... Is this normal?
