PSA here.

I was out the other night with a couple buddies, just relaxing. Couldn't help but be entertained by these two guys there. We were at a decently upscale place. They had a table along the wall by themselves. One guy was sitting at the table looking innocent enough while his buddy was standing up with his body facing the center of the bar totally ignoring his friend while staring around the bar. Now, it's ok to let your eyes wander but this guy was staring hard from the moment we got there. The sad thing was, as I read the situation, this was their plan.

30 minutes later.. Standing guy leaves his buddy and makes a lap around the bar and outside to the patio area, diligently looking at every female along the way. Strangest thing is, he had no luck. Comes back to his friend and resumes his post as bar overseer. His sitting friend left with a hooker, I know because she propositioned my buddy too, while the starer held strong even as we left the bar. Total time was about 2 hours.

Now maybe his persistence paid off after I left, but lets be real. My message is to have social awareness. Look like you're having fun because you're a fun person and more fun will find you. Look like a creep and it won't. Sometimes the best ways to learn are to see what not to do.
