So I want to share an encouraging story. I was fairly interested in a girl a while back, and thats a bit of an understatement. She featured in one of my posts and honestly shes the only woman since 2015 that i would consider dating.

So a while back I was getting real flirty with her but then she ended up getting pissed at me for this whole separate incident. Basically she was right to be angry and upset generally, but not at me. I completely called her out on what she said to me, but also followed up with being very empathetic to the fact that she was in a bad place. Our relationship chilled after that so I wrote her off as friend to leverage for larger female networks. Despite being very attracted to her, I was willing to let go and keep sight of the bigger picture.

Fast forward a few months later... weve seen each other a bit, but havent kept in touch. Ive also been gone for a while. I send a simple text of "hey lets do this activity". Zero intention of turning it into a "date," just something to do in a group. Suddenly shes transformed: she apologized profusely for what she said before, was really grateful I still talked to her, and is now blowing up my phone and insisting I take her out for a date.

Honestly it kinda sidelined me, but now that I think about it it all stems back to that moment when things went bad. I made the steps in a row: 1) call her out, 2) be empathetic, 3) next her. Then after shes had time to get over her personal issues and reconsider her relationship with me, shes all over me. We're seeing each other tomorrow and she specially asked we go to a bar next to my house...

Hang in there guys. I think a lot of the skills we are working on dont have immediate results, but its stuff like this that really shows personal development
