Couple things:

It's OK be a shy virgin. You're allowed to let it show, and if you try to act differently it will look fake (girls know). Many girls fantasize about deflowering a shy virgin.
If you're tongue-tied like that, just smile as if you're thinking, "that was cute thanks for sharing". Or make a semi-comical face where you raise one eyebrow quizzically. Then, immediately "move on" to show that you're not obsessed with casual things that girls say.
If you want to get good at banter, write down what the girls said then try to write down 3 different possible funny or teasing replies. They don't have to be good, just use it as practice.

If you do #3 consistently you will get more quick-witted and funny quips will come out of you by instinct.

You don't want to become so funny you're like a comedian, just kind of cool/funny but a little bit aloof (unaffected).

If I were you, I’d probably just ignore the sex part in your first scenario, if that’s not your style. If she says “I want to live with boys”, then ask why.

In the second scenario here I would just be sarcastic and make a joke like “So, why were you there?”. However, this has problems and complications to potentially happen, and I actually have no qualifications to tell you any of this.
