Dressing better

This is one of the oldest exercises in the book. I mean literally it is in the training manual written by Neil Strauss.

Go to the mall and approach fashionable women. Open with something like "Hey you look like you know something about fashion, I'm trying to find a good store where I can buy some fashionable new clothes. Maybe you could suggest a good store here in the mall."

Note that this does not have any questions, just direct statements. Also it pretty much plows forward without ever giving the woman a chance to shoot you down.

Go to a store where they have competent people to sell you the stuff.

This week I went to a clothing store in my city that everyone knews is pretty expensive (but not overly expensive - they don't sell handbags for thousand of euros or Designer Jeans for 300€ or smth). The prices are like most pants cost about 90-100€ and Tops go from about 50-100 Euros.

Because the store is a little bit more expensive, there aren't much people around. I approached the guy in the men's department and told him that I needed some advice because I wanted to wear clothing that looked better.

The guy showed me some interesting clothing of which I liked the most of and it fitted good and with colours you can combine. Because there weren't many people around and I suppose because he guessed right that I wanted to spend quite some money, I got full fucking attention, he layed out clothing for me, brought it to the changing room.

I finished after like maybe an hour and got a solid looking baseline and just spend a little more than half a grand on it. 2 pants, multiple tops, shoes... everything ranging from 50-100€ and it looks really really good. This was just the beginning, I am definitely going to that store again in the near future.

I really slacked on my wardrobe the past years and I am wearing shirts still that I wore 5 years ago (they are just now getting holes lol) so spending some money for looking nice isn't really a problem. YMMV. But that's how I went with it.

Depends on your body type. If you have women friends who will help you out, why not ask them.

Ask the salesgirl for advice. Don't ask a sales dude they're just as incompetent as you are when it comes to fashion.
