Girl I caught oneitis for went abroad and ghosted me the first week into the semester because she “wanted a relationship and I was doing things other than that”. I got frustrated that she didn’t communicate that she had an issue and didn’t seem to give me a chance to fix the issue after going on dates and hooking up for an entire semester, while also texting her while abroad. Confronted her and told her my feelings and she said “it had been a long time, and she didn’t know,”along with many other contradictions. I felt like shit, especially knowing I shouldn’t have taking this course of last ditch, desperate moves. I understand when a girl likes you she’ll make it easy, but wanted to understand why girls seem more cold-blooded than even the most foul dudes I know. Also wondering how to beat oneitis as I’ve gotten with many other girls since, but she stays on my mind.
