So I have managed to get a date (through OKCupid) and I conjured the courage to approach a girl on a bus last Saturday, yet I'm facing a dry spell which is inhibiting myself from doing cold approaches. I go out once a week to the CBD and I roam around in parks and streets with a focus of presence within the moment. I have a made a few rationalizations such as "she is not that cute" and "I don't want to disturb her" (which I only did once). Yesterday I rationalized not approaching a girl on my street on the way back from local kebab joint because I was not wearing my "going out clothes" (I was wearing baggy black pants and black zip up hoodie). Should I simply avoid rationalizations altogether (even if the girls aren't that cute) and focus on more the reference experience (given I'm a newcomer) or should I proceed to change locations and times when I go out?
