I've seen a fair few posts that reference Eckhart Tolle and his book 'The Power of Now' to be better at seduction techniques, most noteably in overcoming AA, rejection. For those that do not know, it is essentially a book that champions living in the now and disidentifying yourself from the mind and the ego. This is chiefly a summarised version of Eastern philosophy. That is not to say it disservices its message; in fact, I think for many it is a great introduction. Anyway, I digress.

I find it hard to marriage my interest in PUA and my interest in Buddhism/Eckhart Tolle perspectives. Sure, they help with AA and whatnot, but it seems to me that seduction is the chase for desire - an idea of what happiness is in the mind. Moreover, when I am talking with a girl, to play the game, an ego, extroverted persona has to come out, despite how authentic and confident I am being. Sometimes I fret that this is not who I truly am, despite success.

But, having said that, we are all human with sexual impulses. Additionally, I should enjoy the entire dance from the onset of the hi. Lastly, who we truly are is not fixed - what we say and how we act is largely based on who we are talking to, and is an essence of communication. To try and find a fixed identity is merely the ego's yearning for existence.

I would really enjoy some perspectives from people who enjoy PUA and how you can successfully incorporate Eckhart Tolle and Eastern philosophy without contradicting the message they extol.
