Long time lurker, but I feel like I've hit a wall I've been reading about inner game, getting my life in order and just generally being alright with AA.

I honestly feel like I don't have a problem with approaching, I can approach almost anyone without any hesitation. However, my main problem is escalating in conversation.

When I start talking to someone new, I usually start off with our names, what we do (university or work) but after that I have a habit of threading the conversation to simply friendly points. I'm wondering specifically how I get into that whole sexual/rapport building conversation without going from something like "I'm an engineer" to "So what's your sexual fantasy?"

I feel like someone's going to say "You have to show your intention straight away" but I'm not sure how that's supposed to look like without being too forward, which is something my friends have said before.
