I'm pretty good at initiating conversation and flirting, I'd even say girls find me engaging but I'm bad at escalation, especially if you're in a casual setting like at a dinner party.

I just talked to a girl who surprisingly shared a lot of my interests but even so the conversation eventually died out.

I'll admit I don't have much to experience socializing because I'm not very social in general and I don't like chitchatting but when I find someone interesting I really want to socialize but I find it hard to keep up their interest, apart from obviously socializing more what can I think of? How can I keep the conversation enjoyable and how can I escalate flirting?
