The only escalation you should be doing is moving towards a date. Save the chit chatting for in person. If you are already trying to flirt with her you already established some sort of premise, so literally just ask her on a date. Just be specific with an activity and date at time. If you are so insistent on a transition ask "hey have you been to <place>? I heard it <fill in the blank (like has the best Mediterranean food)>". She responds with whatever then you say "cool, I've been wanting to try it, let's go on a date at <time and day>". If she says anything other than yes or if she is busy but she suggests a different time then move on

Alternatively you really could just invite her out to something that you are already doing. Might not start out directly as a date but she probably would get the hint and then you just set the vibe in person.
