Prepare for a wall of text!

My story begins on Friday, March 22nd. I had just gotten off from a long day of work, and was looking forward to taking in the USMNT game at my local favorite bar. Alas, they refused to put it on, as it was March Madness. I thought "Meh, Ill get some food to go and have a beer while I wait."

On a whim, I texted this extremely good looking girl, S, I have been trying to pursue. I knew she had a meeting with one of the hardest professors at my former college that day, and was genuinely interested in how the meeting went. She texted back that she had a rough day, and was already drinking. So I sent her a text saying "Why drink alone when I am right up the street?!" She then responded with "Ill be right up!"

At this point, I was probably 2 beers in, and I was actually pretty pleased with myself. Nothing like a little liquid courage.

Moving on, we wound up spending a few hours talking at that bar, and S then offered to take me up to where she was working that night (shes a bartender at literally the next door up the street). At this point, this was the longest I had spent with this girl, and from what I could read from her body movements and demeanor, she was enjoying it as much as I was.

We wound up playing pool for an hour or so until she went to get ready for work. She came back saying that she wanted me to sit on her side of the bar. It started getting a little crowded at that point, so I quickly grabbed a seat and watched (and drank). S did her rounds every 5 minutes or so, but the interim time was spent chatting with me and a few of her favorite regulars I happened to be sitting next to.

That interaction actually blew my mind. I mean, I had known this girl for a year or two, but before last Friday it was nothing more than friendly conversation.

I had been texting her off and on all week, trying to gauge a response to last week. She is a pretty bad texter, meaning that she replies 2 or three times, then goes quite, only to pick up the conversation 5 hours to a day later. Frustrating to say the least. So last night I met a friend, V, at the same bar, and she actually told me that S was having a party that night. She could see I was kind of miffed that I hadnt received an invite, and proceeded to send a picture to S saying "Im bringing this handsome guy to your party!" So we went to the party, tapped the keg (of Blue Moon!) and proceeded to have a good time! I tried to isolate S at one point during the party and asked her if I could take her out to dinner. I named a few days, and she denied them all. This is understandable because she does actually hold several jobs. There was actually quite a bit of Kino, whenever she saw me, I got a hug, and she did not mind my putting my hand on the small of her back.

To wrap up, V, who is a lesbian even said that "Yeah, S is one of those girls who is super hard to read. Everything is hidden by a smile." I trust V, I have seen her work, and it is actually incredible. But what would you guys suggest? I seem to be out of dinner days, but I am planning on heading back to the bar where she works tonight (I actually like it, I had never been in there before last week) for a few drinks before heading downtown.

What should I do next fellows?
