This is going to be a bit different than your usual seddit post. What I want to inspire you to think about, is your motives regarding seduction.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and assume that most of us here are coming from a more or less similar baseline situation. You were/are not as good with girls as you would like to be. Now you want to get better. So far, so good.

But what do you want from it? Do you want that girlfriend that you have been yearning about for years? Do you want someone to share your inner love with? Do you want the ability to attract partners for casual sex? Or do you just want to lose your virginity?

These would be your objectives for being here. But we need to go deeper. When looking at our motives, in my opinion, it becomes obvious that many guys are at danger of falling into a bottomless pit.

When starting to learn about seduction, and when you start applying it, there comes a point where you realize you're getting that power that you never had. A girl coming home with you after the first date. A girl confessing strong feelings to you. Stuff like that.

But it may also happen that you start to see things a lot more pragmatically. After all, you know what to do, you know what to text, and you understand her behaviour on a level that she probably doesn't even understand herself. You may start to look at other guys and be like 'What the fuck is this guy doing? Why is he texting this girl so much?'. You're starting to demistify the entire dating process. At some point, the magic is gone. A first date? Here we go again.

You might lose track of what you really want, deep inside. That rejection of the one girl, the one that once got away, you know who I mean, that might have been the trigger for you to learn seduction. Or the feeling that you are constantly overlooked by girls. Maybe the feeling that you are not good enough, the way you are. But now you are at danger of feeding your resentment with it.

Every number you close makes you feel a little bit better, at least for a few minutes. Maybe you start to have casual sex just for the fuck of it. Maybe you want to have some sort of pointless mental payback for the girls that rejected you before. You might even reject girls that don't play by your rules immediately. She doesn't want sex after the second date? Fuck her. She's chasing me? Pathetic, but at least it makes me feel better.

But maybe, now everything starts to feel a little hollow. Maybe you start to notice that a one-night-stand doesn't give you any validation any more. Maybe you start to notice that big, gaping hole in your chest. Maybe the casual sex starts to be so emotionally unfulfilling that you ask yourself what the fuck you are doing right now. Maybe you feel resentment towards 'normal' relationships. It might even be a fear of some sort. Maybe, deep inside, you just want to be genuinely loved, but you don't even believe in genuine love anymore. Maybe you have rationalized the dating process to the point where it seems impossible to you to form a genuine connection. Maybe you realized that it doesn't matter at all how many girls you fucked, when you lie next to them and still feel alone.

Maybe you have brewed a powerful cocktail of past trauma, resentment, and the need for external validation that left you paralyzed in a labyrinth of emotions. Maybe the only way to get out is to reconnect with your true, inner desires, and not the distorted image that you are projecting on yourself through the lens of society.

Maybe I'm only describing myself here. But perhaps this will resonate with some of you guys. Don't lose track of why you are doing the things that you do. Don't get caught on a path that leads nowhere. Know your objective and know your motive.
