I'll keep it short and snappy with the context: been a lurker for a few months reading posts here and there but always been very tentative to actually cold approach. TLDR: Thanks to you guys I pushed through failures and had a successful approach.

A while ago I approached a girl and to be quite honest it was a fucking car crash but it didn't really get me down I felt a buzz after the approach.

Then a few days ago I took a girl out on a date but she wasn't very receptive, think: arms folded rejected any and all kino, went in for a kiss and got brushed off. Well that very same night on my way home I saw a girl across a road and just said fuck it and approached. Got her snapchat but kinda fucked it up by mentioning school (she was already tentative about the age gap I'm 18 she's 29) so I'm not sure if she'll go on a date with me now but the point is I MANNED THE FUCK UP. Thank you guys fro sharing advice on approaching instantly and different things to do although most of it left my brain very quickly.

Looking back the interaction could've gone a lot better and more escalation could've happened right there but you live and you learn, I'm still a fawn compared to you beauties.
