Yes. I hate it when girls to try signal their attraction by being extra-complimentary. I remember one girl who joined every club I was in and followed me around for years telling me how cool and smart I was. She might have had a chance if she mixed up all that pulling with a little pushing.

Yes, nothing taught through sedduction is gender-biased. It is human psychology really, thus applying to both men and women.

Any guy that answers this will not be able to get a 100% honest response to you. Same idea as why it's not prudent for guys to take pickup advice from women. Both genders have no idea what they really want, only what they think they want.

That being said, a neg implies that you are higher status than the other person. I would think that status doesn't factor as much in the equation for a guy being attracted though. For my own personal instances, I wouldn't suddenly become more attracted to a girl because she could do better than me; there needed to be some initial attraction there to begin with in order for me to act on this kind of marginal information (status).

That's my assessment of the situation at least. Remember to take that with a huge grain of salt because as humans, we all suck at introspection.
