I live in Guadalajara, Jal., Mexico.

The area I live in has a large progressive university population and tons of restaurants, bars, and restaurants.

I'm 53 and prefer chasing the 18-27 crowd.

I had a long term girlfriend who was 19 when we met (we lived together about 9 months --- but broke up about 2 months ago).

So, here goes a few reports from recent nights out, lessons learned, and thoughts about improvements.

One. A woman friend of mine messaged me to join her a club a little after midnight. Note: the power of beautiful woman winging for you can't be understated, although it has a problem sometimes (more on this coming).

She's dancing with a group, so I grab a few beers and join them, a woman comes up to me, exactly my type, young, slender, braces, looks likes she's still in high school, and slightly drunk. We dance for maybe ten minutes before I kiss her (lesson here is if she's giving a green light, don't hesitate) and I ask her to go home. As we're leaving the club her friend stops her.

Lesson: Don't panic, and don't get desperate. The friend said, "We're going to <another club>." So I went along. As we walked the chick said, "Can I still go home with you?" Obviously I said yes, but I also set the stage for what would happen next, I said, "let's have one drink and then I'll take you home."

Anyway, not much skill was required here, obviously, but after we arrived at the new club I bought her a drink, isolated her from her friends, and asked her if she was ready to go to my place after about 20 minutes. Her answer was yes and we had a great night.

Two. This one was a lay down. I was at a bar (possibly meeting a guy friend) when woman with a friend saw me and came over and said, "Can I have a light?" The one lesson here is that I usually make sure I have a lighter when I go out and often cigarettes (even though I don't always smoke....basically if I'm with a smoker, I smoke,if not, I don't).

She later told me that she'd decided to fuck me right after I sat down. Sometimes it's just showing up that's required and the women choose you. Just don't be a douche and she's gonna fuck because she decided that's what she wanted.

Three. This was a night out with a friend I was trying to turn into a lover. I suggested she try acid and she agreed, lesson here is to not be afraid to ask, you never freaking know what someone will say. Ironically I only had a small amount and she said about an hour later (after a few drinks), "I don't feel anything." So, I took her back to my place and we did some molly. Then to the club. She ended up winging for me but it was mostly a failure as she was dancing so intimately with me that I think all the women that saw me assumed we were a couple.

Back at my place at 4am she was adamant that we were going to remain friends only.

Lesson here (one I've fucked up before) is never pressure someone in this situation, which can be hard when it's 4am and you've been on drugs and alcohol with her for 5 hours and dancing very close.

She's a quality person who is now a good friend and since she's stunningly beautiful and doesn't mind being in pics on my Instagram she gives me a lot of social value and besides I love hanging out with her.

All this would have been ruined had I pushed her, so know the right boundaries..not saying don't push, I mean, I did push her a bit, she knew I wanted to fuck her, but I was polite and didn't cross any lines that made her feel unsafe.

It's sometimes tough because you never want to give up the idea that you're dangerous and an alpha, but don't make a woman feel unsafe around you. And this leads to then FR.

Four. I was at a club with 3 guys, all players and great looking, 2 gay, one straight. The gay guys have it easy when it comes to sex, so they both left about 5ish to fuck after getting sex texts. Me and the straight guy stayed around and about 6ish a woman eyeballs me and we begin to dance.

The problem was that she didn't speak English (well very little, she did understand a few basic things).

So, long story short she said, "I'm scared," after I asked her to come home with me.

This is where it got tricky, my friend wing-manned and spoke to her in Spanish. He said it was fine, safe, etc., and she appeared on the fence.

Lesson: I hadn't kissed her yet except slightly on the neck. This was a major fuck up because if I'd moved to making out in the club, the chance of her going home with me would have increased a lot. The only time a woman hasn't gone home with me here after making out in a club/bar was this chick who was embarrassed because she was on her period. She said, "Can you wait until Wednesday?" Haha...

Anyway, this woman said she had to go to the bathroom after the club was closed, the lights were on, the music off, and she disappeared.

I think if I'd have kissed her on the mouth when we were dancing this night would have been different, but I'll never know.

Question....so I asked my daughter about this (she's 31 and she'll sometimes wing for me too) and she said, "Nobody makes good decisions at 6am at a club so the woman was right not to leave with you."

And I'm wondering.....maybe there's a point where you just say, "okay the night was a bust for getting laid" and that's that, or does chasing after the last woman standing alone at closing time make sense? Me, I was fine to take her home, she wasn't an 8 or anything, but still sexy.

Five. This one is a just another "be out there" as I have a date with a woman who friended me on Facebook and messaged me immediately. My first thought was that she was a pro, but we've been chatting for a couple of days and have a lunch date tomorrow, so I've ruled out prostitute. Perhaps a sugar baby, so that remains to be seen.

But I have a dilemma because she says she's 19 but she looks about 16 and she said, "What, are you going to ask me for my ID?" after I questioned her age. I said, "We'll see." She said, "I think you should trust me." So, yeah, I'll see how I feel after a lunch date which seems reasonably harmless.

Anyway, for anyone who's feeling a bit weak or rusty or wants to practice fishing in a lake with lots of fish that like to bite, I can't recommend GDL highly enough. If you're reasonably social and at least decently groomed and so forth, and between 18-28, getting laid is very easy. If you're black and decent to good looking and under say about 35, the women will start dropping their panties in the club. You'll have to fight them off with a stick.

For older guys, as I said, I'm 53, it's not so easy. But, there's the challenge, enough of the young crowd loves older men and it's just a game of patience to find the ones who like older gringos. If you like sugars (I don't so much) then it's not even a challenge (assuming you have cash) --- if you're just an average earner in the states you're pretty wealthy here by local standards, so it's not hard to find women that want to hang (it's more of a challenge to find ones that really like you and are serious, if that's your thing...if you just want to fuck, well hookers are legal, but it's cold and lonely --- finding the right balance is not super easy).
