I'[m] 26 never done anything with women, not even kiss or fondle. Never had a girlfriend.

I'm also a salesman, a good one, and they don't really overlap. I can talk to complete strangers about a product and joke with them and talk with them, no problem. I sell $2700 packages on the spot often.

But with women I try to get myself to approach in a romantic way, I'm like a middle schooler. I get all nervous and my heart starts pumping, I'm unable to get the nerve up to approach.

Well that all changed last week.

I realized nobody around us cares if I ask her out, women want to date me too, (I'm 6'2" and under 200 pounds, I'm fucking gorgeous) I don't need to make a big deal about it, I just go make conversation, and ask for the number.

Well gentleman, I've done it 3 times in the last 36 hours and it feels amazing.

1: I went up to a woman employee at a local store, I just walked up with a blank notepad and asked if she had a pen, she hands me one from her bag, I open the notepad and say "okay what's your number?" She plays the not allowed to give out her number at work ploy, she'd only be able to give me the store number, I joke I don't want to date the store! She smiles again and I say okay and wish her well.

2: I walked up to a theater employee, I smile, lean on the counter and joke "so if we start dating, would you be able to get me free tickets?" She awkwardly smiles, says "oh no" and turns away and ignores me. Lol.

3: My brother and I are carpooling across the country for work, stopped at a store to try to get a free car wash that I was previously told would soon be part of the plus membership, which I have, I went inside to ask how to do it and the girl at member services said that on January 27th corporate sent out an email to them saying that that was no longer going to happen.

I was like "what? oh no! that sucks!" And she was sympathetic and like "I know I was super excited about it too because I'm a plus member myself" I told her about my brother and I carpooling together to work several states away, and we only stopped for the carwash haha. She laughed and said yeah I'm sorry.

I said "well you know, even though I live in out of state for now, if I could get your number it would cheer me up"

She smiled and laughed and said "oh wow, you're so smooth" and she fiddled with a paper and then after a few seconds said sorry she actually has a boyfriend. I smiled and said "hey that's cool, I wouldn't know unless I asked! Have a great night. ☺️"

Just go out and talk to the people you're attracted to!

The fear really is unfounded and all in our heads.

I'M GOING TO GET A GIRLFRIEND THIS YEAR. Wish me luck.
