Talking to girls has never really been something that I've been "deficient" in. However, I did lack the confidence to walk up to and begin talking to a woman I found attractive. In fact, before I started this process, the idea of walking up to a complete stranger and talking to them almost never crossed my mind. It was only in the past few months when I began to learn about the pickup scene and watch other people's infields and approaches. Watching these videos, along with listening to theory, has really inspired me to take massive action in my dating life. I truly had so many limiting beliefs and lacked the confidence to approach. However, after intentionally putting myself into states of discomfort and getting rejected a lot, I have begun to see success. I have learned how to do a strong, confident approach and have also started incorporating wit, humor, and teases into my sets. I've been seeing increasingly great results. I feel like there is a snowball effect happening where the more I invest, the more momentum builds and the faster my progress goes. I guess this is what Leo Gura meant when he said that cold approach had a steep learning curve. Coming up this next week, I have upwards of 5 dates, all with different women.

Undertaking this mission has allowed me to further my own personal development past a point that I thought was previously possible. I would recommend anyone who is struggling with confidence issues to begin approaching women. It has skyrocketed my confidence in day-to-day interactions in both my sexual and platonic interactions. Speaking from personal experience, this process will make you a more sociable, outgoing, and extroverted person.

I am currently 20 years old, living in a medium-sized college town. I am awestruck at the implications that learning all this stuff early has for the rest of my life.
