For context, I'm a 22 year old middle eastern guy living in the west, with no ties to his heritage and very few male role models throughout life. I've found that I can learn alone, but the process of experimenting and internalizing the proper social data is slow af in comparison. Like walking vs. riding a jet.

I've found that "masculine traits" aren't 100% the same outside of the west. For example, in some middle eastern countries, looking down towards those older than you shows respect and good manners, whereas here it shows lack of confidence.

As a result, I realize that I need western role models in real life to learn, because I'll mostly be living here. They don't have to be white, but they need to be aware of western culture, and someone "alpha" or worth learning proper masculine traits from. Obviously not someone insecure and overcompensating. Just someone assertive that I can pick up those minor kinks in my social mechanics from. That way, I can pick up traits that are modifiable and not inborn or personality-specific, and adapt them into myself.

Any tips on where I can find these types of people, or how maybe some of you guys did it?
