TL;DR: After a long time working on inner game, and getting the occasional girl to go on a date, I am now truly motivated to get over that AA. Oh, and a number close.

BACKSTORY: I will admit it, I have realized that after a LTR I suffered from being an AFC for a long time. A few short term non-commital relationships later, I am coming around to pickup. Recently something clicked after a friends with benefits relationship ended (which was one of the worst ideas for my game ever, probably set me back more than helping for that month.) Thoroughly sick of going out and just people watching, I have motivation.

Onto the report: Local bar had a stoplight party (for those who dont know you wear a color based on relationship status, green=single, yellow=complicated, red=taken) I got there early to avoid paying cover and see who was coming in. A few good prospects, though not much more than an HB8. Things start to pick up a bit, and I decide to see what else has been trickling in while I was watching the basketball game. Walked by a bunch of "alpha" guys, one who thought he would heckle me about being single, and solo at the bar. Proceeded to call him out on being a douche and he shut his mouth (prior to seddit, I would not have had this confidence). So carrying on, I was being a wallflower for a while like i usually do, but forced myself to at least talk to afew people that night. Walked by a short HB9 outside of the group she was in. Proceeded to open with a charming "smile you are supposed to be having fun." which works almost all the time for me to get a conversation going. In fact i almost walked by after that, but forced myself to keep talking to her. Ended up being small talk about where she went to school, etc. Escalate with a small amount of platonic dancing, and she introduces me to the group. I end up talking to her cousin (HB7) for a good amount of time as well. Mostly bantering back and forth with the group which turned out to be about a 6-8 set. Eventually number close HB7, but both seemed to have interest in me. Left the night with a hug for both HB7 and HB9, and also plans to meet back at the bar in the near future.

Afterthought on the night: Should have probably ejected and returned a couple of times because things seemed slightly cold, but conversations were going well with people in the area. Kino with the other few girls should have also been escalated for social proof? All and all, proved to myself AA is dumb, though alcohol helped that a bit. More practice to come.
