Hi Seddit.

Last weekend I went out to a club with some friends and finally had a chance to practice my game in a bar setting. Due to the nature of my job, I wasn't able to arrive at the bar earlier than midnight which wasn't optimal but no big deal. On the taxi ride over, I text all of my friends to get the low-down on the club we are supposed to be partying at only to find out that they had decided to go to some shitty pub without telling me. I ended up just saying: "Fuck it, I'll fly solo tonight." and went to the club anyways.

I arrive, pretty out of state due to suddenly being alone. I'm surprised however upon arriving that there are around 5 people from my high school graduating class there as well as about the same number of former work acquaintances. I immediately start catching up with them to loosen my tongue. Looks like I had social proof all along.

So long story short, the rest of the night was pretty unremarkable. I opened as many sets as I could, succumbed to AA as many times as I overcame it, but overall had a fun time. There is one set I would like some advice on, however, as this girl caught me entirely off guard.

I tried chatting up an HB6 at the bar when I went to get a drink but got shut down hard. This girl just refused engage verbally with me in any way. She wouldn't respond to any questions with more than a shrug, nod or shake of the head, all the while with a sort of mischievous smile. After a few attempts at questions, I switch to teasing her about her silence, asking her if she's a mute etc. She still refused to speak so I asked her why she was out tonight and she points at the HB7. I ask what's so special about her and she points at HB7's tits. Having had enough of this, and having acquired my alcohol ration, I told her I've seen better and walked off.

So any advice on a girl like this? Was it just a lost cause to begin with?
