Dr Robert Glover changed my life. But it wasn't just the book. Go to Youtube and you can watch some of his podcasts that give info better than the book. Remember, he wrote the book 15 years ago. The podcasts reflect his more recent teachings which presents materal that is more extensive and polished.

From Glover, I've learned that a lot of PUA tactics and seduction rules are stupid. As corny as this sounds, the best approach to women is just be fucking upfront and act with authority. Don't do all that PUA stuff which asks that you put on a mask and play a game. Don't live by all those "rules" (never pay for her drink, never arrive on time, never admit your vulnerabilities, etc). Dating by strict rules will shatter your self-esteem because the best way to build self-esteem is to engage in self-improvement (career, appearance, socially, spiritually, etc) and then be unapologetically yourself.

I have read that book 2 times and it saved my life. I am a completely different person now.

At least 75% of the book was a biography of the last 35 years of my life. I'm 45.

It would take at least a 15 page report to detail the stupid shit that I would do.

I dated a chick while in college in a long distance relationship 4 three and a half years and on my license plate I put,"Im Jens"... can you believe that shit?

I would work overtime so much with an expectation that good things would happen in my career the opposite happened. One time I worked 25 hours straight. It meant nothing to that employer.

When I was married because I worked from home and my wife at the time commuted 45 minutes each way, I would have dinner waiting on the table within five minutes after she came home, then because she was obsessive compulsive she had to clean for 15 minutes after she got home, so I started cleaning but it was never good enough because she was insane so it got to the point where I was cleaning an already spotless apartment for 30 to 60 minutes while I was making dinner before she got home.

It still wasn't good enough.

We made an agreement before we got married that we would never talk shit AKA gossip about each other to our friends because our friends would never hear about how we resolved our differences and it would only leave them with a bad impression.

After all the cooking and cleaning and doubling my income my wife at the time asked me to go into her email to find a document for work, an email with my name in the subject header was unread so I opened it and read it. It was a message from her friend with an email thread going back and forth about what was wrong with me. And her friend was talking shit about her husband. I confronted her she was only pissed because I open the email so I waited about 4 days and went in again and there she was talking shit about me even though after we talked about it she agreed to stop doing it. Elected like a blue pill nice guy while we were discussing it instead of handling that shit like a God damn man.

That is the definition of a cunt but it's also the definition of a nice guy who should have divorced her within months....
