First Seddit Post; Testing Out My Newfound Knowledge

Hey guys! i'm a 16 year old guy from scandiniavia and have been on this site for a couple of months now. I'm still very new to the game but I've learned about main things to have in your mind when living over all. Of what I've learned thus far, the most important thing is to always do what makes me happy, no matter what others think, and to have a great time living.

This upcoming friday I'm going to my friends party. There's going to be a lot of people, 60 or so, which means a lot of social interaction and a lot of girls. This will be the first time I'm able to use my newfound knowledge in the field, and I'm curious so see how much progress I've made and how much I've learned.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not there to score or get laid. My main reason is simply to have a great time with my friends, and enjoy the evening. I intend to be centre of attention, the one that contributes and turns the mood up. I'm not going to be affected by peoples negative opinions, instead giving value to the people around me. Of course I understand that things probably won't go exactly the way I plan, but that isn't the intention either. It's about learning along the way, and because of this I will write a field report afterwards. Your ideas and opinions are much appreciated!

Go around and pretend like the party is yours. Act like a host. Make sure everyone is having fun.

Hey Guys! Glad you all could make it!! Everyone got a drink? The drinks are over there in the kitchen (or whatnot, DON"T GET THEM THE DRINK).

Make observations about people around. (probably best for people that are a bit more quick/witty on their feet). Although there isn't any reason you can't come up with a funny line or observation first and go use it a few times. If you know a cool bar trick or something that could work too. Set them up with the trick then let them know you'll come back to see if they can get it.

One of my favorites is to bet someone that has a beer bottle that they can't blow the cap into the bottle. (You set the empty beer bottle on it's side and fold the cap in half and set it just in the opening...) This trick is physically impossible, because the harder you blow into the bottle the faster the cap flys out and hits you in the face. Therefore set yourself up so that people have to get you a drink.

Anything to add a little value to the crowd. If you are good with names make a small bet that if you can't remember the whole groups names then you have to do something (buying a drink would be typical in a bar). If you get the group to really warm up to you tell them you'll be back but when you return you want a WARM LOUD "Adrian! You're BACK!" you know whatever it takes to get a little attention your way in the room so other groups know you are having fun.

The first group is the hardest by far but the more warm you get received by your current circle/group/crowd, the easier it is to suck in another group and then shift into that group and move on... "Oh hey I was just telling them...."

Also if you have a good story or so something that you can weave a few different aspects out of and then come back to is good too
