20's, Asian, 5'11, 77kg, work out athletic build, no particular face aesthetics. Have had some success on apps but the quality I can match with is so damn low. Some gems but most of them are chubby and I'm just not into that. I'm a bit picky, not to mention the whole asian online dating thing. Recently decided to start approaching daygame.

1st time I went out, had plenty of opportunities but didn't have the balls to approach anyone. "Sarged" around for 3 hours and completely failed. 2nd time, same thing. Did a lot of soul searching about my ego. I made 3 approaches the 3rd time.

A 6.9: Bbg style Asian at the local mall's bookstore. Nice body. Yoga pants. Opener was well received and had a nice chat. Got some laughs but there were some awkward pauses as well. Tells me she's meeting a friend in 1.5h but my mind goes blank and I just give her my # for coffee sometime.

Stupid mistakes here. Should've asked her on an instadate right there. Also giving her my #, instead of getting her #. I didn't think this interaction went particularly well and went away thinking I'll never hear from her again. Got a text from her an hour later.

B 6: White girl looked cute in passing. Blonde ponytail, grey wool overcoat. On a bit of a high from finally approaching earlier. Got up beside her and direct open. Listened but when I was done talking, she literally turns around and walks away without responding at all. Lol. Not as cute up close though.

C 7.1: White Ukrainian brunette. Looked completely bored sitting on one of those long mall sofa-chairs. Chin on hand. Direct open was well received. She was a bit guarded but we had a good vibe going. Much smoother and a better interaction than A. She moved West 2 years ago but is fluent in English. Got # and she texted back in an hour.

Even on this 3rd trip, I passed up a huge amount of opportunities to approach. I could only manage 3 approaches but the 2 #'s I got were from girls I know I actually want to pursue. That really makes all the difference. I find myself more excited about meeting them again than any online chick I've met. Fuck online dating.

Edit: Got dates with both A and C set up. We'll see how it goes. I might use this sub to hold myself accountable. Post if anything interesting happens.
