So I'm heading into university very soon, so want to get this sorted out. I've thought this for a while, had friends tell me too, and recently a girl who was into me for a while said it too. I don't/can't flirt.

I can like a girl, we can get along, but I just don't know how to flirt. Probably the closest I get is teasing her, making her laugh, which is why I've done alright with girls, but never great, especially with advancing things. I can get them interested, and keep that interest to a degree, but forget escalation. I just don't know how to flirt without it feeling really weird and possibly creepy. I've looked it up many times and asked people and yet I'm still not entirely sure what flirting is/ or how to do it? I know it's sexual escalation through playful means but like, what?
