Ok, so I have been having good success getting numbers and arranging dates recently, several of which have gone pretty damn well.

My issues now are starting to revolve around what to do after this point. I seem to have lost the interest of more than one person after seemingly successful first dates where we have kissed and they have indicated that they would like to see me again.

Thus far I get a fairly decent dialogue going in the lead up to the date, normally involving a fair few messages via text or OKC with some flirting, but after the date I am not sure how to proceed. I tend to tone down on the contact so as not to seem too interested, and after asking/trying to arrange a second date I don't talk much (don't want to seem overattached or clingy in any way) so often a few days will go by. This means that I have gone from a reasonable dialogue before the date to suddenly not saying much. Most of the advice here tends towards keeping fairly quiet, but I am not sure if this is making people think I am no longer interested since I was talking to them more before the date.

What gets difficult is if the second date isn't for a week or so, or it needs to be re-arranged for some reason. Suddenly the first date happened a fair while ago and I haven't kept in contact, and people's interest seems to fall off.

Any tips from the more advanced users on how to maintain interest, or should I keep some distance so as to not seem too clingy? I feel like I would quite like to maintain some light conversation to keep a rapport going.
