TLDR:

Rejection isn't as bad as it seems / focus on having a good time instead of chasing women

Following up on this post I ended up going out Friday night to a bar for a meet up event as well as Sunday for a day party at a club. Friday night ended up as just a bro night at first I just talked with the guys but around 11pm we decided to start approaching women. The city I live male / female ratio is absolutely fucked so we struggled to find groups of women who were open. We bounced around to a few spots and I could feel my mood shifting from the constant rejections I was getting that night. I was no longer having a good time and I could feel my neediness start to build. Here I am with three other dudes and we are just walking around the venue looking to meet women. The entire act felt weird as fuck I felt like a creeper so I knew that this is not the best way for me to meet women.

Near 12:30 we ended up back at the first club where we at that point I'm done "trying". Decided to just go back to having fun so I started dancing by myself. I've been trying to dance with all night but no one was really with it but shortly after I ended up grinding with a girl. The guys I was with recognized two girls from our earlier meet up and approached them. I have no clue what my friend said but he wrapped his hands around both girls and brought them to me. I'm chatting up one of the girls her vibe is kinda weird but we ended up making out. Also I decided I'll no longer use alcohol as a clutch so only had two drinks the entire night.

Sunday I planned to just get really drunk and have a good time, women were not my focus at all. We get brunch and have unlimited mimosas so we were all feeling pretty good by the time we get to the club. I'm just talking and kicking it with my friends fast forward and hour and several shots / beers later I'm sitting on the ground by a barstool. A woman comes down to my level and asks me what I'm doing so I hop up and proceed to chat with her. I don't really recall what happened next but now I'm talking to some other woman. She is super cool but I'm not attracted to her another woman pops up and we start dancing together. Not really sure what is going on in my inebriated state but just going with the flow and having a good time. I realize I haven't seen my friends in awhile so I just walk away from the two girls to look for them.

My two biggest takeaways from this weekend were rejection is not nearly as bad as it seems. Sure it sucks but it doesn't sting nearly as much as I recalled. Like I said earlier I'm trying to be sober when approaching women so wasn't sure if I could handle rejection properly. Due to solely using Tinder to meet women for the last 2 years I've forgotten how to really approach. The second lesson is man its so much better to focus on just having a good time instead of honing in on women. I know this has been preached time and time again here I just forgot it for a night but I'm back to just focusing on having a good time
