Hey Seddit, this is my first field report, so here it goes.

There was this 8th grade reunion was organized over facebook (after four years, so everyone has graduated high school now), and I remembered some cute girls from back then, so I decided to give it a chance and go. The funny thing is, I look nothing at all like I did in the eight grade. I was fat, short, brown and awkward, and now I've gotten in shape (bodybuilding for 2 years now) and have a lighter skin tone, I'm now also 6'2", so only a handful of people recognized me.

I arrive at the house, and mingle with everyone, shoot the shit with the guys and the girls, just whatever. As the night progressed, more people showed up, and most of the girls were pretty cute. Everyone gets to drinking and having a good time, and since everyone has their phone out all the time, I just mentioned that "we should go party some time" to a couple girls I took a picture for, since the group I was talking to was talking about their favorite bars to go to in town it was a perfect opportunity and I took it. I had developed many different rapports with the girls there and received 4 numbers and gave out mine to 4 others. I even did the risky "ass grab hug" where as I hug the girl I bring her in tight and put my hand overly low on the small of her back and sort of "feel" a cheek. It's not creepy if done right, and they love it, if they're attracted. I didn't do this when I hugged the girl I will mention next though.

The main thing I'm worried about is this girl, let's call her "Carly"

I was just talking to her and her friends, it went like this:

  • Walking from common room in the house to grab another beer

  • Grab beer

  • Spot Carly's group and recognize her other girl friend, let's call her "Stephanie"

  • Make a noticeable change in direction towards the group(was heading back to the common room, they were near the kitchen)

  • Open with a confident "Hey! what's up!? I don't remember talking to you guys much back in the day.."

  • little things I was making sure to implement: Major eye contact (focusing on one eye and keeping contact while talking), playful negs ("oh I remember you! you were MEEEAAANNN!") ("You struck me as most sarcastic girls back then"), and just keeping in state by talking to EVERYONE, and being as social as possible.

  • [Regular catching up / light conversation] - while I'm talking to Carly and Stephanie, I sort of "aim" my conversation on purpose at Stephanie, the target's friend. This sort of irritates Carly, because I'm not paying her much attention, so she asks me "Did I change a lot?!?" (we were talking about how we've all changed since eighth grade)

  • rapport established with Carly, able to just approach her and talk throughout the rest of the party

  • I should also mention that I was talking to EVERYONE at this party - and I was really getting a lot of attention from the ladies. This group of girls was taking pictures and as they were setting up for a group picture, one of them pushed the others out of the way to get a solo with me, and then the others wanted to do so after her picture as well.

  • Later, Carly was sitting on the back of the couch, reverse, facing the party, and I go up and sit right next to her, and sort of just say the obligatory "Hey"

  • She has her phone out, taking pictures, and I tell her sarcastically "Instagram it, so you can turn that pic into a work of art!"

  • She laughs and asks if I have an iphone - I just say "aw I've got an android, works for me though" - She fiddles with her phone, and says "Here." with the dial pad open.

  • This threw me the fuck off (she asked me for MY number!, I'm not used to that at all) but I just typed in the contact "Firstname ;) lastname" and in the company put "Awesome inc." just for the lulz I guess.

  • Before she left, I hugged her, and told her "Text me later?" and she said yeah, and sent me a message right there (it was just two period marks ".." so I could save her number.

  • This happened on Saturday night, June 2nd

  • I'm really interested in this girl, I think she's possible girlfriend material, but I haven't received any texts yet, and haven't sent any. I'm asking if you guys could help me out in my text game, just maybe with the first few messages at least, since I'll probably text her soon (I've already waited 48 hours.) -maybe invite her for sushi? she mentioned she loves sushi, as do I.
