Last weekend I went to the bar with a group of about 20 people, they're friends of a close friend, but he bailed out at the last minute and I went anyway. I knew three girls (one of them definitely in to me, but I'm not interested), so I showed up with them. I immediately introduced myself to everyone. The guys in the group were all AFCs but a few of them were relatively aggressive/wary of me because I had good rapport with their girls right away. Overall I was the most alpha/cool guy of the group and out of most of the girl's leagues, but I still think there's value in what I learned.

walking to the bar was the most important part of the night because that's where the conversation happened. I conversed/told a few stories, kept a smile on my face, and made sure to talk to everyone in the group. I think the entire key to the night relied on the fact that even though I didn't really know anyone that well, I just acted like I did. It seemed like the girls I talked to were pretty surprised that they'd never met me before as they were under the impression I knew/hung out with their friends pretty often.

Anyways, I dance with this girl and she just wont let me go. lots of physical contact, I avoided a make-out (I've read its recommended not to make-out early in the night as its hard to keep up attraction), and even though I was dancing with her I tried to move away and talk to other girls/disappeared for a bit multiple times so she wouldn't think i was "hers." At the end of the night she seeks me out and follows me around while I'm saying goodbyes.

So nights over, my ride got screwed up so I ended up going to crash at this guy's house. Lots of people from group went too, I just got in a bed and the one I danced with got in it with me and we ended up fooling around.

The basic lesson of this I hope people get is that EARLY in the night I made it my mission to associate with every single person in this group (social proof for later), never staying with the same people for too long , never even giving anyone the chance to walk away from me or to divert their attention elsewhere because I would do it first. What it resulted in is me attracting this girl (by the way, I realized the next morning that the ONLY thing I said directly to her all night was "yes" when she asked if I was coming to crash at the guy's house. Otherwise it was just me talking to a group of people or someone else with her listening. I just made sure to enjoy myself and when she saw I was good conversation/confident with lots of people it ended up paying off.

A few other things: -A guy that I had really good rapport with in past events showed up (he and the girl i ended up with are friends) and I didn't know he would be there. -having the other girl that was into me act jealous definitely helped me; It doesn't hurt to build attraction with girls your not into. -if this girl hadn't been as aggressive and essentially made a move on me by trying to dance with me/hold my hand, the night could have ended in nothing. Though I take credit for attracting her

next time I go out I've promised myself to apply this attitude with hotter girls that I'd actually go out of my way to take home.
