I started the day by getting a date with a girl I met earlier (second date). We walked through the park with her hanging on to my arm and then sat on a park bench where after some hesitation, I went in for a first kiss. Did not go well. She didn't really reciprocate much or at all. After a second attempt, I jokingly said that she would have to initiate another kiss, which she eventually did. After that kissing seemed okay but nothing spectacular. We walked a bit more and at the end of the date I moved in to kiss her and she recoiled a little (barely touched her lips). I asked her if everything was okay. She said yes but I didn't want to try again so I ended the date on a hug. I texted her later and she replied with no change in tone. (ie: affectionate but not overly so).

What happened during this date?

Note that this morning before the date she texted me saying she woke up and was thinking about me

Feeling a bit down after the date I psyched myself up and went out to a bus terminal near the university where I opened 3 sets with different girls. The first was an HB9 who was in a hurry to get somewhere. We barely spoke but she gave me her number (verbally) and I hope I remembered it right before I put it into my phone. The second was heading home and said she had a boyfriend. I asked her if she wanted a manfriend and we both laughed. The third was going to the university to study. Realizing I had nothing to say to her I said I was actually in a hurry to get to a friend's place and I got her number.
