After a pretty rough night yesterday I got some awesome advice from askseddit and decided to go out again to another place today.

I get there are things have just started. It's DJ night so there's going to be a lot of dancing. There is a small group of people on the dance floor already but I see this one girl dancing by herself. The guy is motioning to her to come over and dance with his friend. I see this and I just think, "You know what? I'm going to dance with her!" So I just walk up to her with my inner game at 100% and just start dancing with her. I start casually chatting with her from time to time and she tells me she's really glad I'm not afraid to come up and dance with her since most people seem to be too nervous to start dancing. I make some comment about them needing a bit more alcohol. Anyway, I'm here to have fun, get some practice and she's not really what I'm looking for so eventually I move off and start dancing with others once more people show up to dance. Eventually I caught the eye of this hot girl. After about 2 glances, I can tell she's into me so I make my way over and dance with her. Her friend starts giving her the thumbs up sign and telling her to basically "go for it". We're dancing pretty close, staring into my eyes etc... but as her friend walks away she eventually excuses herself, saying she'll come back. I tell her she should stay and dance but she leaves anyway. I just shrugged and didn't let it bother me. I made a mental note to study up proper escalation for future attempts so I can maintain interest.

Anyway, I end up dancing with this one girl and a bunch of other girls invite us over to dance with them. Throughout most of my sets this other PUA notices my attempts and starts joining in. Later on I got to chat with him where he told me that he's been watching my game all night and thought I was awesome. I was not expecting that.

Eventually I end up dancing with that first girl again and she definitely trying to keep me dancing with her. I quickly noticed that she started to mirror my moves so I have a little fun with it. Again, I'm not interested in her so I didn't pursue her much. Eventually she tells me it was fun dancing with me and says she has to head home. I just let her leave since again I'm not interested in her but I feel like I should have tried something. Ah well.

I didn't end up with anyone. I don't know how many sets I ran but it was a lot. I wasn't keeping count and honestly I didn't care, I was just dancing for fun. For a guy who's never tried night game before this week, this was a pretty good start.
