There was a bonfire Friday night, I got invited. There were about 17 people there, 7 girls. I never really done much with most of the group, but I was really good friends with about three of them, and on good/friendly status with all of them. We're all HS seniors and college freshman, btw.

Of the 10 guys, 6 had GFs, and two of them were there. So there were 5 girls to get to know, but the only two I were interested in were these two incredibly cute twin sisters. One I knew of from track, the other I had no clue. I decided to "focus" on the one from tack, but I talked friendly to both of them.

At one point, a buddy and I drive to his house to pick up blankets and gas for his generator. I ask him about the twins, and he said they were the really nervous/ shy types, but nice. Ok, cool. We get back, get snuggled, and watch the fire while listening to music. I didnt offer her a place under the blanket, partly because I was sharing it with two other dudes, mostly because her and her friends formed a weird sitting-in-eachothers'-laps formation to the left of me. But I could still lean close and chat without others over-hearing me, so I was in a good spot.

Night goes on, me and my blanket-sharing bromosexuals destroy our voices screaming out lyrics to various -core songs. Every now and then I'd chat her up for a spell, get a good response every time, but could never continue the conversation. I wasn't sure if it was because of our circumstance, if she was being nervous or shy, or my conversation topics just sucked.

The night dies down, we're cleaning up (kinda) and her and her group are about to leave. She steps away from them a little, so I isolate and start chatting again. There was a video here where a guy told, not asked, girls to put their number in his phone. I tried it, but I'm too non-demanding to do it properly. It came out like "lemme put your number in my phone". She hesitated and told me she really doesn't text much. I, for some fucking reason, said to her "oh, forreal? Why not?" So she was just like "Iunno, but my number is "555-5555". I thank her, cleaned up the fire, compared pubes with a newly acquainted bro, and drive to a friend's house to continue the night.

That was Friday night, I didn't text her all day Saturday because I was lazy, but now I'm not too sure about even bothering at all. I mean, she isn't and hasn't done anything unattractive thus far, I just know that a girl giving her your number isn't necessarily a sign she's interested. IDK, it was a fucking awesome night though, made new friends and old made acquaintanceships stronger. No regrets, fun time.

TL;DR - Bonfire night on Friday, got the number of a cutie, didn't text her today, doubting doing anything further with her, still had an awesome night.
