Been out of the game for a couple years and got back in to the groove after LTR dissolved a couple of weeks ago.
I've never really had the balls to try daygame before and now it's all I want to do. It really is seduction in easy difficulty, at least here in Finland.
So getting right into it: I was sitting in the local library yesterday just chilling, reading a book (something self-helpish, of course since I'm on my path of self actualization yawns).
I spotted a thin young well dressed blonde chick (HB7 from here on) sitting couple desks away from me. Now normally, I would've panicked, thought to myself that I have to either approach her immediately or not at all and thus given up.
This time I just decide to chill, keep reading and see if I come up with something. And much to my surprise, I do. I stood up (I have to walk with walking sticks or whatever you call them due to a temporary knee injury) clumsily and shuffled my way up to her desk.
I asked her "Excuse me, hi" - "Would you mind guarding my book while I go put some more coins to the meter outside." Now, I am aware that this makes absolutely no sense whatsoever but I didn't show that I care and she agrees.
I could've just put my book back to its place but with my book now safely on her desk I go outside and actually top up the meter. Then come back and proceed straight back to her table.
"Thanks for watching my book smile eye-contact." No problem, she replies. I continue: listen, would be terribly inconvenient (try not to read this in old british granma voice as I actually say it in Finnish) if I sat next to you, it's so boring reading alone?"
She smiles and agrees. I sit down and casually introduce myself and shake her hand. She asks about my book and I explain it briefly. The book is about the art of saying no. I then query her about what she's reading, it's some university economics of which I understand very little.
Moving foward we each begin reading our books, casually making remarks and small talk as it comes naturally (this is a very strange experience for me already because I don't chit-chat even with people at my work). Then I think of something very Larry Davidish, so much in fact that I hold off saying it because "Don't say stupid shit."
After a while I decide to come out with it and say: "I wonder if a library would be a good place for a first date." She looks somewhat puzzled but intriqued. I continue: "Because I don't know if you've had this but going to a coffee shop for a date can sometimes be pretty awkward. If you'd come here, pick up a couple of books and sit down to read them, at least if you run out of things to say, you could just read the books in silence."
She giggles merrily and asks me: "Would you like to have coffee now?"
We go and as predicted it gets awkward.
