Recently had a failed Tinder date, but I learned a ton.
1. Situate yourself such that you can escalate physically
It's impossible to escalate when you're sitting across from each other.
We bounced to multiple venues, but I wasn't able to find a table that allowed us to sit next to each other. What I should've done was just fucking sit next to her. I thought it would look weird, but what's more weird is sitting across from each other and continuing to force conversation. This isn't a fucking interview, and like you, she's not here to make friends.
2. Your goal isn't to talk about stupid boring shit, it's to get laid
Chances are that 3 hours into the conversation it's going to die down, and on top of that if you're the last table at a closing bar at 1am, she'll be tired as well. For whatever reason I kept trying to force conversation to prolong the date. This was stupid. What I should've done was escalate physically, and if that wasn't possible there, then bounce somewhere where that would be a possibility. Forcing a conversation makes you look like a desperate idiot and serves no one.
In the beginning particularly, I should've been more relaxed and suave, letting her ask the questions, do the talking, and try to "game" me.
When you get to a point where she's no longer asking questions when it's silent, don't keep trying to fill the silence gap. This is a sign that you need to stop concerning yourself with the (dull) conversation and start escalating physically. You're trying to get laid, not be her validation beta bitch and sugar daddy.
3. After a certain point, time is working against you
In the beginning it makes sense to be a little reserved. But after a certain point (eg. 2nd or 3rd venue) after she's earned your attention, you need to escalate, or at a minimum put yourself in a situation where escalation is a real possibility (ie. not sitting across from each other asking ice-breaker questions).
If you don't, then she will get bored, think you're a pussy, and wonder why she's still there. It was at this point that she started acting bitchy.
4. Be willing to call her out on her bullshit and walk away
Towards the end she started to seem kind of annoyed and bitchy. When faced with this, you need to be willing to call her out on her bullshit and walk away. Although it might sound "mean", she will actually respect you more for it. What value do you have to her if she can walk all over you and treat you like a little beta bitch without having to earn your respect?
My response was to keep trying to prolong the dry conversation, which in hindsight was so stupid, and directly correlated with her increased bitchiness. Again, I should've tried to escalate physically, bounce somewhere where that was a possibility, or just end the date. You're not a desperate man, you don't need this one girl.
I should add that I actually got her number a month or so ago. She was acting really bitchy over text (eg. taking forever to respond, one line responses) and I was leaving town for Thanksgiving anyways, so I stopped responding. 2 weeks later I texted her on a whim. All of a sudden she was immediately responding to my texts. As soon as they became boring one line replies, I said fuck it and tried to set up a date that same night (Friday), to which she agreed.
5. Don't be desperate, jerk off if you need to. Be relaxed
I was too desperate. I was so desperate to bang her that I wasn't willing to walk away when she started acting bitchy and it was clear that nothing would be happening tonight.
Honestly I think part of the reason was that I had intentionally taken a long break from jerking off. I know a lot will disagree on this, but I find myself getting really desperate when I don't jerk off for 3+ days. Desperation is a major turn off to women. If jerking off once every 3 days or so makes you more relaxed and less needy while still having enough drive to want to fuck women, then I don't see the harm.
6. Awkwardness isn't cute. Nothing is awkward if you don't make it awkward
I know this sounds obvious, but I'm recovering from the bad habits I developed during the 2 year relationship I just got out of. My gf would always tell me that she adored my awkwardness and innocence.
Fuck that. Awkwardness and portraying innocence is a huge turn off to most women, and won't get their panties wet (particularly the ones who go clubbing, act bitchy over text, and post way too many selfies on Instagram). It comes off as unconfident and insecure. She doesn't want to "gift" a beta bitch with her body, she wants to be fucked by a confident alpha who's higher value than her.
7. When trying to get her back to your place, don't ask for her permission. Plausible deniability.
Say something like "let's watch <that TV show you were talking about>" or "I need to show you that video". Especially with the younger insecure girls, plausible deniability is vital, ie. they don't want to feel any responsibility for getting banged because it makes them feel like a slut. Even if you think it feels kind of awkward because it's so damn obvious, it's not awkward if you don't say it in an awkward manner. If you say it awkwardly, then she's going to be really turned off (unless you're super into each other, at which point you could get away with saying anything).
TLDR: Know your intent (to get laid), and act upon it. Start off relaxed to get her to earn your affection, and then escalate physically. Do not try to prolong a boring multi-hour conversation, escalate physically (don't forget your intent). Be willing to walk away at all times. Nothing is awkward when you don't say it awkwardly.
