Sup,

I ran up to the HB after an aerobic class at my college and did a kino turn saying "Excuse me, I'm actually a bit nervous and scared about this, but I think you're very pretty so I had to come say hi". I waited for a reaction to see if I needed to transition. Her face was blanked and she scoffed saying "uhm thanks?" She then offered a hand shake saying her name (which was suppose to be my transition) I then jumped into conversation asking what she's studying and how she got into it. She was into talking about her stuff and I followed up what she said to continue the conversation. But it felt like I was getting to know her more than she was a trying to get info about me.

Some signals I noticed that she was lacking eye contact and shifting her body and eyes towards the locker room. I had to bring up more things to talk about to keep her in place, but the pattern was shifting movement-talktalk-shifting movement/eyes-leaves. Another thing i noticed was she moved from personal zone to social zone when I was talking to her. Her first reaction after the introduction was to move about three feet away from me and towards her destination. During the conversation, I find out that she had to go shower and get to her next class which could be responsible for her being hastily. The set ends with her saying "well I have to go now pointing in direction of locker room, offers me hand shake I'll see you next class'" 45 degree turn, waves bye with somewhat ehh.. how weird face

Things I'm concerned about:

-The HB overall awkward vibe. Could be due to the fact she's awkward, she never been approach like this before, or my inexperience.

-I thought of some smart/teasing comments, but couldn't say it for some reason (probably too nervous). ex: "Why are you so bad at making eye contact?"

-She dominated the conversation by talking about herself.

-She offered opening handshake and ending handshake.

-"ehh how weird face"

What's the best thing for me to do? This is not a typical day game because I will be seeing the target again. I wasn't able to get the #close because I didn't feel like the conversation was strong enough and by this being a classroom setting it might be weird if i #close right away. My overall mood right now is oh shit that was weird and her's is probably the same. Should I wait until after the class to talk to her? Sit next to her? Ignore this set and open more sets? My goal was to get over AA, but like everyone else, I wouldn't give up a chance of an f-close if it was possible.
