So I was on Tinder and matched this girl, got her number in like 4 texts, then we set up a date for yesterday. I haven't gone on a date in a while, but I grew up with mostly women so that's a godsend that taught me how to treat and respect women (ya'll should too, don't manipulate them), anyway I get in the bar, and wow.. she's SO fucking cute. I knew she was cute but damn. I give her a nice big hug and lead her to the table. Talk a bit about our days and eventually order some drinks. I got a sampler tray of craft beer and it was absolutely disgusting, I drank it all and she loved and laughed hard at my reactions.

At that point, we're pretty comfortable, talking about shitty dates we've had and she mentioned that some dates were literally so awkward, like "what's your favorite color" so I give her some shit and say "oh come on.. what's your favorite color?" and then she tells me, and we both go in depth about color and it's a lot of fun. It's about how you ask / say it, not what you're asking / saying.

We keep talking, then she excuses herself to the washroom. She came back with a new hairstyle. I took that as a great sign, and she played with her hair non-stop. Also, I invited her out to an event I was going to in a week, which she told me she'd come with me to, and my friends will be there. It had been almost 3 hours and I was really tired so I got the bill, paid for us both and walked to catch my bus. At that point I read her body language and she REALLY wanted a kiss, it was RIGHT FUCKING THERE. The entire looking down a bit, looking up, kinda cute shyness, man it was adorable and obvious. I was going to check the bus time and then kiss her goodbye, and then the bus rolled RIGHT up, so we hugged and walked our seperate ways. I walked on the bus and I was kicking myself SO fucking hard, I bet people on the bus were like "wtf is with this guy" because I was straight up rubbing my face in the "are you fucking serious" way with both my hands because I wanted to kiss her so bad.

Anyway, I decided to make a slightly risky play because I was inpatient and super angry at myself, so I texted her, and honestly this isn't the best move but given how well the date went, and how it was obvious how badly we wanted to kiss each other, I really just couldn't wait and told her I wanted to kiss her but the bus finessed me. She told me she really could have also used a longer goodbye with me and that she had an amazing night. Told her I'd see her at the show and that's that.

Man its been a while since I've dated but it's as fun as I remember, such a nice rush and it really validates you when all the dates you go on go well. I couldn't get this girl to stop laughing and it made me feel so good.
