I'd like to start off by saying I'm 17 and am finally starting to learn about this stuff. So randomly I got a message from this girl in my lunch period who I've casually bullshitted with a few times. It was obvious that she liked me from the first few text so I started teasing and she responded well. After like 3 hours of on and off text I set up the date at her place the next day. I meet her family (sigh highschool) and that's all fine then her and I start walking around the town talking and all that. During the conversation I'm teasing and I made it a goal to break the touch barrier as quick as possible. Along the way back she threw up on the side of the road. Apparently it was something she ate. It wasn't I got the fucking flu a few days after. Anyways we get back to the house and she cleaned her mouth. Her parents had company over and were busy drinking or some shit and we're downstairs and we sit and watch some TV and she leans her head on my shoulder and from her I pulled her in closer and just slowly escalated from there while we talked. I couldn't really do more than grab her waist and ass cause her sister would occasionally annoy us. She threw up again and then I kinda lost my mood, which is also why I didn't end up kissing her even though I could've easily. I shortly after and she said she had a great time. Overall I felt like I did pretty well. I texted her the next day asking if she was sick still and that I wasn't and she replied with "Nice". I then texted her 2 days later saying I got sick and she hasn't even read the message 5 days since I sent it. I'm not really sad cause she was kinda boring in all honestly but its kinda random. I'm not gonna bother texting her unless she does first at this point. My only regret is that I wasn't the one who made the initial conversation that led to the date. But overall this was a good experience and shows that if the girl is interested she'll make it easy for you to succeed.

Edit: Yeah in hindsight I was kinda an asshole. I was really focused on what my next move was gonna be and that kind of thing so I didn't pay full attention at some points. I was also really focused on being not needy that I kinda forgot some common sense. But overall great learning experience.
