This my first field report, its a bit vague and I am still a tad hyped up that I pulled this off, I found it real confidence boost and now understand when everyone else here is talking about "going into state" Any further questions or constructive critisicsm is totally wanted, as I constantly need to improve my game.

FR - Went to McD's alone after dropping a freind off to a train station. I order some munch and while awaiting extra sauce etc, I notice a 2 set behind me, I open them with " Are you playing in the pool tournament on friday? (As one of them is the senior student in my college halls (hb 6) and I've seen her about. Chat minorly, invite her to play pool with me in an hour or so.

I enter the common room, its almost empty except for this HB7, sitting awakwardly alone with loads of stuff. Open her by asking why she alone etc, turns out she is a carribean med student just moved here and she is waiting her mates to return with beer. I start racking up pool and engaging her, asking her why she in the UK etc.

5 mins later, 5 guys walk in, 2 black, a chinese guy and 2 indian guys. See me talking to to HB 7.

Introduce myself to the guys, before they can say anything, invite one of the black guys to come play with me. He gives me a beer and we start playing pool. Whole time I am dominating the convoseration, just explaining english rules and commenting on there teams they are picking on fifa. (Lots of activities in the common room)I notice one of the indian guys is obviously after the HB 7. I notice that he glaring me down the whole time, doesnt matter I've won his freind over already. He starts playing fifa and the HB 7 clearly is just sitting there bored. I engage her and get her to come play pool, (she never played) I kino her by helping her take a shot, postioning the cue etc. The indian AFC is pissed as fuck, giving me proper evils, however I own the room already, got all the other guys tlking to me etc.

Then HB 6 comes in, joins us 3 playing pool. I then ignore HB 7 and start engaging the other chick, I joke and tease both girls and my new freind too.

This is followed by the entrance of 2 HB 7's who I have spoken to already when i go for a ciggerette. I open them and the AFC is proper furious, I have not seen evil stares like this in ages. I introduce my new pool friend to the other girls and swing bk to the carribean chick. She has to go, so i # close her. (The how can we continue this again... routine)

The original HB 6 then gives me her number and I say goodbye, I then take one of the other HB 7 away and up to to my room to compare music and chill.

Ended with 2 # closes (already have the other Hb's numbers) and piss one AFC off no end. I had 8 people totally at my disposal and this is first time I'vve tried the whole dominating the scene. Everyone wanted to talk to me and be part of the action whether I was on playing pool, the fusball table or fifa on ps3.

TL:DR : Controlled a room of 4 HB's and 4 AFC, # closed successfully. First time feeling that I was in state.
