All right seddit, my first field report, I hope I'll look back at it in a few month with a smile!

So, yesterday evening, I went to a punk/hardcore music festival with a few friends. Everything was good, I was planning on enjoying the show and I was really looking forward to see the uncommonmenfrommars live.

As the fourth to last band goes up, I see this blond HB7.5, maybe even 8 dancing next to me, and I can see her looking at me from time to time, and as the last group rolls in, she's getting closer and closer to me, bouncing against me. I'm starting to think that it's on, but then mister AFC comes around and start wispering excuses in my ears, like "the music is to loud" "you'll go see her after the show".

And then, out of nowhere, this other guy comes, start smilling at her, they start "talking" (yelling in each other ears) and dancing, and as the show ends, she walks away with her girlfriend, and the guy follows them with a friend of his. As we left the show, I could see them talking together from afar.

Right at that moment, I realized that all my life, I've been the only obstacle between me and women, and I hate myself a bit for that. I've never approached a girl in my entire life, except in middle school where I got rejected every time, and being in a six year relationship that fell out of nowhere on my lap hasn't helped me a single bit getting over AA.

So here I am, 25 years old, recently single, thinking that good things only happen to others. Even though I've lost 26Lbs, and I'm starting to be proud of my body, I feel like changing my mindset is on a whole other level.

Still I'm gonna hang on to this lesson, and try harder next time.

On the good side, I really wasn't bothered by this as much as I used to, my first thought being " you'll get plenty of chances to try as long as you get out there".

So here's the beggining of a serie of transcripts, that'll hopefully track and summarise my progress and will be helpful to me and others.

Do not hesitate to add your 2 cents, as every input will be useful.

Thank you for reading.
