I had never been clubbing before this, though to start the night off I went to my mates birthday party early, drank a hell of a lot there, just having a good time with friends. Me and a couple of my guy-friends decided to leave at about 12 and get a taxi into the city and go to a club that a few of our friends were already at.

We met our friends and they were all drunk except for one responsible one. I teased them about how drunk they were, how they were already burnt out so early on. Decided to try and get over some approach anxiety while in the club, despite it being a mission to even talk to someone, I cold approached about 5 different people asking whether they found portuguese of spanish people more attractive, this seemed like a great idea to me in my drunken state mainly as my friend is half portuguese and I would have introduced the person I was talking to, to him, but I didn't escalate with anyone as I was too drunk to try to think straight for 2 minutes and holding a conversation was difficult with the lack of light and shit music blasting everywhere. Couldn't create interest in people so that they would want to talk.

Helped my mate K and # close with one of my other friends that he didn't know before hand which I was happy about. We were outside, they were cold and I wasn't so I just put my jacket over them and they were then holding each other quite closely, they walked off together and made out, success there.

I was testing my ability to neg on my friends too, seemed to go pretty well. Especially since we were all drunk it was a lot easier. Need to work on my overall game though, negging is nothing without the rest.

Closer to the end of the night I was looking after my friend who was feeling really ill, while both the guys I went to the club with were conversing with 2 of the less-known mates from the people we met when we arrived. She said she was going to be sick and she wasn't lying, she then became the only person I saw throwup over the whole night. Some people I didn't know came over after they saw she was sick and were telling me "You could still fuck her, just dont let her suck your cock" Which totally threw me off. I just brushed it off and laughed.

All in all I had a good night, approached strangers, helped my friend close, practiced negs. Need a lot of work on maintaining a conversation with a stranger, allowing for me to escalate, will try this next time I go out, and I wont drink so much, as much as liquid confidence causes me to not give a fuck, it makes me quite dumb.
