I met up with some friends for a night out drinking; first time in weeks and I think only the second time this semester.
Eventually my friend and his room mates sit at this table where some girls are sitting. At the end I'm at there's this girl whom I'll call Sam for this FR. So Sam and I get to talking the standard college intro and whatnot. We played some simple drinking games and Sam and I talk about random stuff; the bar started playing techno and Sam and I are talking about how these kinds of bars never play techno, only hip hop and that glow sticking would be awesome given the chance (a high five seems to raise the mood). I also remember her saying something about how she normally doesn't come to bars like the ones we're at; instead she prefers bars where you sit down, chill out and have food or watch the game (me too!). While Sam and I talked I made sure to "conveniently" do some slight kino like putting my hand on her shoulder when talking to her. Eventually Sam, her friend and others including myself go to the dance floor to dance.
I start grinding with Sam, while one guy from the group I was with tries to dance with one of Sam's friends for a while. Sam seems to be into it, while previously mentioned guy walks off not too long after for whatever reason. At that point, I decide "fuck it, I'm closing this deal or going down in flames of glory". That is, if Sam explicitly says "no" or makes similar suggestions I'll back off, but that's it. I should note that I don't normally grind while dancing.
So Sam and I grind for what seems like a long ass time. I slowly escalate kino; first by holding one of her hands and she reciprocates; then her other hand. I keep my hips and legs in the same rhythm as hers and jump when the beat of the song calls for it with her. Eventually it gets to me breathing on her neck, nibbling her shoulder, playing with her hair, raising her hands to play with my hair, kissing her hands, etc. Her friends don't seem to intervene so I turn us away from her friends who are dancing together. There were a few times where she's talking to one of her friends while we were dancing, but for all I know or care she's talking negatively of me; again, if she doesn't disengage on her own I'm not gonna be the one to stop our rhythm.
I try spinning her around but no amount of torque I apply seems to be enough to get her to face me to go for the k-close. So when she doesn’t seem to want to turn I play it off and raise her hand and we keep on dancing. We probably danced for over an hour straight, as indicated by the fact that my quads are pretty sore such that going down stairs is slightly difficult.
Eventually the bar is closes, she hugs me and we say our goodbyes, nice meeting you, etc.; she says she had a good time but has work in a few hours (I told her "might as well have fun before work"). K-close didn't work out unfortunately. I get her number but don’t inherently give her mine (I did call her phone but not too sure if it went through and she got my number; guess I should've asked for her phone to input my #). As we’re walking out and she’s with her friends I see I remember it’s best to get out of there on a high note, so I keep walking back to my place.
Not sure what to do with her number from here on but, stealing info from a previous comment I read on seddit, might text her something like “Some dorky girl from Generic College Bar gave me her number; should I text her?”.
Comments/criticisms of any kind welcome. I should note that getting #'s from girls is nothing new to me; far from it in fact so I'm not entirely sure what to make of this night.
TL;DR Go out to a typical college party bar for the first time this semester; chat and dance with a girl for a while; kino’d and escalated but ended up with a #-close at the end; go out with my head held high regardless.
edit: this was way too long originally; edited for a bit more conciseness mostly.
there doesn't seem to be anything here
