After reading Seddit for a week, checking tips on Kinowear, I thought it was a change for a makeover. So last Friday I went to the city with a ladyfriend, and bought great looking clothing, new shoes, a new watch and a new attitude. I applied some tips to this girl and the day went a lot smoother and more fun, but it didn't count as my first try out.

On Saturday I socialized on a birthday and was asked to come with to a bar (it was a family birthday, but I went out with my sis, a couple I didn't know, and a HB7). As soon as we walked into the bar I checked if I was standing upright, head above my body, small smile, arms next to my body. The standard confident posture.

I immediately saw 6 girls checking me out. And I had pretty good eye contact with most of them. The HB7 picked up on this and immediately offered me a drink. She was having a bit of trouble getting a hold of the barkeeper to order the drinks, so I made it a game. Who as first got a hold of him won. I won, and she offered to pay. I said the next one was on me.

Meanwhile I caught some girls looking at me sneakily, which gave a self confidence boost. After a few drinks it fell silent with the group, and I said to the HB7 "Darn this silence, we need a topic to talk about, what do you suggest?". Amazingly enough she said "Sex", amazingly because this is a very shy girl and I've known her for 17 years, and we never brought up this topic.

After this we went to another pub, and HB7 always stood in front of me. No matter what. Everything went slick, I put my arm around her if she had to speak closely to my ear, and we kept on talking. The conversation fell silent at one point though, so I socialized with the couple that was with. Who were constantly laughing at my jokes, and I clearly was the Alpha male.

I look around at times (not too often ofcourse, didn't want to come over nervous) and every time I saw at least 1 girl checking me out (which usually isn't the case), and I returned some of them with a smile and eye contact.

After the night was over, everyone was ready to go home. I offered HB7 to bring her home, and she didn't think over it for 1 second, and couldn't be more clear about it "Yes, I want you to walk me home." Obviously I walked with her to her house, and she asked me what my number was, in case the one she had was my old one. And I said I would call her tomorrow at 3. We hugged and unfortunately three kisses on the cheek. A very close kiss it was, but she hesitated a bit and chose the three kisses on the cheek goodbye.

tl;dr First night out with tips from Seddit and my confidence was greatly improved by this night. The girl I knew for 17 years got interested in me, whereas first we were always sorta friends. Caught a lot of girls checking me out. And I had a great time.
