The object of any interaction of mine is fun. So this young lady and I played games and had drinks before changing locations. Mild flirting and kino bc I'm at the point where I want a girlfriend. I spent time getting to know her. We changed scenes and the tension did die down but being isolated allowed for more comfort in conversation. Towards the end of the night she mentioned the friendzoned guys but I chose not to react immediately. Instead, as she left, I grabbed her arm and asked her directly. She said 'probably' but I didn't stop there. I grabbed her chin and said 'let me have this once' and kissed her. After, she asked when she'd see me again. No negative feelings on my part, but I do feel accomplished. Remember that progress is still progress.
