I'm trying to be more active with practising game so I thought I'd write this report. Nothing really epic happens so feel free to not read it.
Lessons I learnt:
Dancers find it hard to approach guys - I was talking to one and she was saying that most of the girls drink while working because it makes it easier for them to chat to the guys. It also can "hurt" them if they get rudely rejected. But they do it anyway. Because they know they will eventual get a guy that will buy a dance from them. I feel this is a very important reminder that everyone is human and gets anxious. It's also a lesson on abundance. Imagine when approaching girls, if you got paid for every number, every kiss and every lay. Would you still have approach anxiety? Yes. But you would do it anyways. This is the "dancers mindset".
Always be closing - I think I could have at minimum number closed some of the girls. There were 3 that spent at least 20mins with me.
Holding a conversation makes you appear more mature - I had a few dancers ask how old I was. When I asked them to guess they said you look really young like early 20s but come across as more mature (I'm late 20s). When I asked them why that it is they said you can hold a conversation better. One of them even said some of the young guys will say "so what do you want to talk about?".
The actual night:
Went to the club and decided I would try opening the dancer (a video I watch said to do this as most guys just wait for the girl to open them). What's funny is I still got mild approach anxiety, even though I knew the response would be positive (as the dancer would think I'm trying to buy a dance). Approach in a strip club is no where near the same as approaching else where, but there are similar elements like speaking loud enough and how to get their attention in a non creepy way. I made sure to practice these elements. I saw one really old dude just awkwardly swiping at dancers that walked by. Half of them didn't even notice it.
Some of the girls are in pure work mode, I let those one go. The other ones every now and then would ask "want a dance." I find this is good to practice frame control. Telling them "maybe later or I just got here" works at the beginning but doesn't really work once they've spent 10+ minutes with you. Next time I'm there I'm going to try and just ignore the frame.
Not sure how much detail to put into the actual interactions. I just briefly mention the 3 girls I think I could have number closed.
Girl 1: German girl. When I talk to them I don't use their stage name (it reminds them I'm a customer). I just give them a nickname, it makes it easier for reopening. I spoke to her more then once that night. When I made jokes she would always say "I really like you, your funny" I could tell these were genuine. At one time I was actually teaching her game. We were looking at one dancer work the room and she was like how is she so good. So I just started telling her about basic game lol.
Girl 2. Sad girl. I've named her that because when I asked how was her day she said don't ask. Then I made a joke about how it's ok if she wants to cry here and that we could go eat a tub of ice-cream and watch "love actually". No really big signs she was interested other then she spent a long time with me and she was talking about some personal things.
Girl 3. The student. Really annoyed I didn't close this girl. She spent a lot of time with me but then she was like" I need to go make money." I was like "I get that go and hustle and then come back." She said she'll hang out with me when it gets quieter (she actually said that more than once). She was telling me the time it gets quieter and to stick around until then. I left and came back, but it actually never died down that night and I didn't speak to her again.
Non dancer. I saw there was this group girls there that were non dancers. After telling myself not to be a bitch I opened one of them. After talking to the girl for awhile she gave me a "shit test" and asked to mind her drink while she goes and dance with her friends. Failed the test, was like yeah that's cool. But I actually like that I got the "shit test". I've been watching a lot of RSDmax stuff and he said "shit test" are good as it's her subconsciously testing your frame. Something she wouldn't do if there was no interest. Didn't end up closing her either as her friends pulled her away. Lesson learnt should have opened her friends.
Summary and things to do next time.
I like strip clubs to practice game. You just need to calibrate it for game outside the club. I'm not really sure when is the best time to be there. Some people say early some say later near closing time. I think if its early I should be going for number closes (and risk the flake). I'm pretty busy so I can't really stay until closing time.
Next time I'm there I will, ignore the customer frame and look to close.
