The title is only partially true, but if you like any of those things then you might enjoy this.
Disclaimer: This contains a lot of my thoughts which are not explicitly externally communicated as it would make others feel as if I were a massive dick. Thinking some of these internal thoughts which I have written is key to being confident and happy, but if you tell others about them then they naturally berate and dislike you. I've lost friends as they've been less open-minded and seen these posts, which is a shame.
This post has an emphasis on 'mindset'. To be honest not a lot happens (a pleasant kiss with a little meaning). I chose a less ridiculous or unbelievable story from my last month (though its still good) as I am performing a small experiment to see what constitutes a good [FR]. Hopefully this is what people want?
The smoking area of a club:
Scene: Standing with friends, smoking a roll-up (something I only do when intoxicated, not very often). Im wearing a leather jacket, plain tshirt, tightish beige chinos and brown leather shoes with matching belt. I have a haircut like this guy and a few days of stubble. A lot of people here are on drugs and crazy - on MDMA, acid or stronger.
A cute girl walks by. There is a difference between cute girls and hot girls. Hot girls demand dominance and extreme confidence - you need to verge into passive-aggressive dick territory to qualify as worthy-of-any-attention-at-all. Cute girls you can simply be confident and charming. I've learnt to deal with both, and prefer hot ones but don't like to ignore a good cutie. I prefer hotties to cuties as at this time I am only looking for multiple short term relationships, with women wishing for the same thing, and they are a little more of a challenge and provide value to me by living richer lives, on average, IMO.
I look at cutie's face and she.is.gorgeous. We briefly hold eye contact. She is walking a route past/towards me to get somewhere so I turn my body deliberately toward her, look at her calves and slowly work my eyes up her body and back to her eyes, and she is still looking, and walking past. I held a marignal smirk/smile and very very lightly bit my lip as I did. I could have opened to her as she walked but didn't; she has been added to my mental list for talking to later and will hopefully be receptive. I didn't open as somebody I was with said something to me, so I turned away to face them. Girl then comes back immediately and asks for a light, and I give it to her. My hand is on her upper arm and gently squeezes it as she holds the cigarette still and I light her cigarette.
As always, but the most important point so I will state it: I keep solid eye contact for the entire conversation;
"How is your night going?" - I say in a slightly deeper, slightly slower than normal voice. Her body is completely facing me, and mine is off by about 30 degrees. My head is facing her directly though.
"Pretty good!" - Her skin is unblemished and she has green eyes, soft brown hair (healthy volume), lovely symmetrical face.
"Why is it good?". - I challenge people a lot even if it seems stupid. I am slightly smiling so it seems OK rather than threatening. This question makes people verbalise why they are enjoying themselves and puts the conversation into a positive light immediately, and we can start relating on stuff we love.
"Uhh I dunno. Lots of people I guess?" - Oh, boring answer. I hope she isn't boring, I was started to like her before we even started talking. Give a small smile.
1 second pause - "Whats your name?" - "Rita" - "What a pretty name." (I hate saying cliches, but I do love that name, and its the first thing that pops in my head). My head is closer to hers than it normally would be.
I had began escalating too quick - we had began shaking hands and I decided not to let go - I'm not a slut - so I break eye contact, look around and say...
"...A lot of people here are pretty mashed."
"Yeah.."
"I've seen 3 people literally cross-eyed and with their mouths open, stumbling." - I had. Just an interesting observation. With this question I can gauge her morals and subtlety see how open-minded she is. I am at the point in my life now where I am less eager to talk to closed-minded people (even for a one night stand), as I will never properly relate and get a little pissed off talking to them.
Before she could answer back 3 of her male friends then arrived. I shook hands with them all and controlled a conversation. LSD/acid is the natural topic because of the cross-eyed people I just mentioned. I mention that the structure of DNA was derived while Francis Crick was on acid but nobody believes me. "Google it" I say. Also mention that "shareware" in software was thought up by computer scientists while on acid.
- "Can you imagine the conversation they had when they came up with shareware? Some of the top computer scientists in the world hugging each other and chanting 'sharing is caring'?" - I get a big laugh and secretly an hour later write that down for a stand up routine I am preparing (the delivery is what makes it). I get along well with the two most dominant looking guys, give good handshakes, laugh a little at their jokes because they genuinely are funny, and keep eye contact, occasionally looking at Rite who wants attention.
One of her friends then starts talking about how he happens to be a drug dealer. He then brings up a story which is very embarrassing about himself. He was in the middle of med school and got kicked out for being caught on acid throwing wads of cash of people while naked in a subway station last NYE. Crazy. I listen with eyes wide open at his story and show empathy without talking down to him, which is a rarely acknowledged dominant trait.
( Never show yourself looking down on people. If you've seen people the world over then you just appreciate everyone (though you will prioritise who you spend time with). Only when you are completely grounded in yourself and with a certain level of maturity can you do that, and people do notice, subconsciously. People will be more comfortable sharing deep secrets if they see that you accept everything and don't judge or belittle them - this is how to form strong relationships. If somebody gives you shit for not being condescending for some reason then give them shit! and consider not bothering with them again. )
