Mixed feelings really, I mean is great that the community is growing but the bigger the community the more likely it will run itself to the ground.

I will just put my trust into the MOD team and hope for the best.

When you're a new subscriber, basically read the top posts. They're all stellar and each one is different. They cover pretty much all the important stuff.

I found this one right here a year ago when I first heard about this type of community. From what I gather, the original poster (who is a natural) thought that the seduction community was a bunch of creepy guys conspiring together to take advantage of drunk girls to get laid and brag about it. He posted what he thinks leads to his success with women, and through his edits, he realizes that the seduction community is more of a "self help" community for guys who legitimately struggle with women, and not the sleazy pricks he might have thought.

I really like it because he lists a few very good pointers and mentalities. When I read it, I shared a lot of characteristics with him (I'm not a fan of clubs, I think a lot of seduction "games" are too silly to do in real life, etc...), and it showed me that a guy like me is having success with women and I can do it too, just with a little help.

That was a year ago, and I have improved a lot since then, thanks to this community.

It's a fundamental concept that should be practiced by EVERYONE. This post has evolved my game and has allowed me to get better rapport with people.

I used to find it awkward having to touch people (it used to be uncalibrated as fuck - touching at random times /cringe) . Now, it's automatic and calibrated, and I even surprised myself when I started doing it instinctively.

Since people are discussing possible directions for the sub (and since I don't have a favourite post), might I butt in with my two cents?

Maybe add something like the consistent contributor thing they have on /r/mfa? And possibly some more stuff in the sidebar, arranged by level of difficulty (IE beginner, intermediate, advanced, master, for example) and type of game (daygame, clubs, parties, work), maybe even something like what was discussed below (by area and nationality, by age, etc). Also, 'comment of the week' feature for particularly insightful or otherwise good comments.

In general, I think MFA would be a fairly good model for how to organize seddit as it grows larger. A few more mods, supported by a large base of loyal and trusted users, and a shared set of references in the sidebar = a lot less newbieness.

Also, links to things like MFA, fit, getmotivated, socialskils, similar self-help subreddits.

My favorite field report has been TofuTofu's foursome (well 3.5some)with the crime scene investigator, The ex-cheerleader MILF, and a porn star. It fills me with a sense of hope, that with enough practice in these ways, one can do something as extraordinary as this. But it all starts with building yourself up and trying.

The idea of building yourself and how a lot of the people here don't treat women like simple sexual objects created only for the males sexual gratification. Now, still some do, and I don't really like that, and the treatment of women like that can lead to a lot of problems. But here in Seddit, it is more about the build up and being comfortable and confident in who they are and understanding the girls they meet than the actual pick-up.

A lot of places where young men might venture into on the internet in the case of learning how to pickup can lead them to some very misogynistic areas that can lead them into ways that can cause harm to themselves and others. Seddit has provided a safe place for myself and others to explore the idea of being confident in not only the dating world, but in other areas of their lives. I am glad that when I had to do a project for my social persuasion class, I chose the Seddit community, and I am glad I have stuck around.

I've been in Seddit since I seriously started gaming - nearly two years ago, when I was studying abroad in Belgium. This 100,000 subscribers is both a blessing and a curse. It's a blessing, because it keeps the entire PUA-scene active and changing, but it's also a curse because of all of the failure stories we will get.

That's right. Every day, we're going to have more and more of those lame blog posts who try to justify being the white knight in shining armor, justifying being the nice guy, justifying not being fucking alpha. But you know what we'll do to them? We'll tell them to fuck off and take their AFC shit with them. Because that's how we roll.

My favorite post? That's a tough question, Fred. There have been many good ones - Lovedrop had an AMA, so did many other great folks. But all in all, I'm going to have to go for TofuTofu's FR, which ended in a foursome with a porn-star, a crime scene investigator and a cheerleader MILF. When I read that FR, all I could think was "Holy shit, son, you just reached motherfucking god-mode". It's shit like this that keeps me in the game. It's a shame I cannot really devote myself to it (uni life and all), but these kind of FRs absolutely help.

Just because there are 100,000 people subscribed here doesn't mean that all of them actually still come here. A lot of those people who do read here rarely post, and others dont even read much of the content.

I think at some point the mods are going to have to start organizing this place better, maybe even create a new subreddit for field reports or remove more garbage content that gets posted here. A lot of great posts get overlooked here as well. I'd dig up some right now but honestly i wouldn't even know where to start.

There is still good content being posted, its just harder to find with more users, and all the noise being posted (repeat posts, same questions asked over and over again, and garbage bs from people who have no idea what they are talking about) I think all question posts should be moved into askSeddit now. Maybe only new content and field reports should be posted here.

Just something that worked for me multiple times.

A redditor once gave an answer as to what to do when you asked a girl out via text and she didn't reply.

He suggested something to the effect of "Hey I didn't see your reply, so I made other plans with my buds. Raincheck?"

The idea is to not put her on a pedestal and to show her that you do have a life (I think?).

Anyway I didn't really trust it, but hell if it hasn't worked wonders for me. 4 times now, the girls would always text back to me with something akin to "Sorry I didn't make it. You free on [put date here]?" And sure enough, they were there the next times.

Now if only anyone can point me to that post, just so I can give said redditor some sort of thank-yous.

More likely it's Gambler's The Formula for Night Game. In the middle, about 30 minutes in, he does a demo with a blonde girl that is rather good. He talks a little about how to use nonverbal signals, eye contact, etc. If you find some specific bits about that eye contact/filtering thing, let me know a timecode and I'll rewatch it. I've seen this whole video 3 or 4 times, it is 100% awesome.

It's happened with cringe, I can see some of it happening in malefashionadvice and I hope Seddit doesn't kill itself.
