Really great advice. I know this may be obvious for some, but it's always something that needs reminding. Great post!

Haha yeah. His post drilled the concept to me. It's for congruence, and further, I feel that it also voices confidence (value and sexuality). Big fan of your r/mansformation series btw :-)

Wow, 100k! Seddit has grown so much from when I first joined (5k subs). Here's my favourite and was actually the top post 2 years ago http://www.reddit.com/r/seduction/comments/bpx0p/exercise_touch_everyone_you_talk_to/ It's a fundamental concept that should be practiced by EVERYONE. This post has evolved my game and has allowed me to get better rapport with people. I used to find it awkward having to touch people (it used to be uncalibrated as fuck - touching at random times /cringe) . Now, it'…

Hi Eric, thank you so much for the articles and advice you've given throughout your emails and website. When I stumbled upon your website, it was really fresh not to see routines being preached like a gospel. My question is around how do you maintain balance between life, work, pickup, etc? I used to go out with my wing weekly, but ever since I've got into very demanding job and I find myself working til late and having no time to go out. This has in turn affected my approach anxiety when I see …

This is definitely a sidebar material! I have actually gone through most of these and can safely say that it has improved my interactions with anyone, not just women. Eye contact is indeed a hard one to get used to, but it's a very powerful tool to show your confidence. I love these posts in Seddit; it teaches AFCs in becoming more natural. Great post!

What works for me the most is to ask, What are you up to today? Simple and it allows me to thread to the conversation. For example, if they say, 'I'm going to go to uni.' You can follow that up with a multitude of ways: 'Which uni do you go to?' 'What course do you do?' You can then change topic to talk about interests or passions. And keep threading from there. Hope that helps!

Always come from a confident frame. Tell her that you both should grab coffee or dinner this Tuesday 6pm. Don't ask her "if she wants to go out sometime?" -- that's putting the ball in her court. Remember, you should ALWAYS be leading. Assume she likes you and it'll make things a lot easier.

I agree with this. Just to add, try not to be the one to break contact first. Smile or make a goofy face. If she is interested, she will laugh/smile, she will even brush her hair or look down. If that happens, you HAVE to approach. I use this kind of IOI to force myself to turn around and say Hi. :)

Interesting point. That's actually another angle I never looked at. Counterpoint, if a nice guy wants to chase after a girl that he aims to make his girlfriend/fbuddy. Tries to impress her with flowers/drink, in the aim of achieving a goal, would you say that that's an attitude of someone driven?

I was referring to beta behavior towards women, HBs in general. In the sense that anything supplicating or puts a girl in a pedestal is instantly beta. My mindset is distraught in that sense. That's actually my problem, overanalysing things in PUA context.

From my experience, don't ever go on logic mode when a girl LMR you like that. Most of the time, they would say something like, 'I think it's going way too fast/too soon'. Instead, you should've just said "Ok, I understand." Got up and grabbed a drink or something. Go back to escalating through kino and flirting. Were you overtly touching her, or was it more incidental?

I totally agree with NOT FB chatting girls, I just didn't know how else to initiate contact. When you say invite her to an event, you mean invite her to one of my parties? I'd like to hear your thoughts on that because wouldn't the girl be turned off/intimidated by the fact that she's being invited to a party where she doesn't know anyone BUT me?

My skills rest in person, not over series of texts. Exactly. You really should tone down on your texting. It's good to set up a foundation for your date conversations, but you don't want the stories to be restrained by texts. Texts should really just for you to follow up with your 'hey we should catch up sometime' line you used to get her number. Leave the conversations (concerts, music) when you're with her, IN PERSON. I read your new text conversation and I gotta say man, you're getting really…
/r/seduction11/02/11 02:28 PM
2

You're too chatty on the texts, leave the conversations when you're out on a date with her. Texting should be used as a means to tell the girl where and when to meet. She gave you her number, assume that she wants to meet up again. I find this post very enlightening on how not to fuck up attraction via text. Also, stop with the double texting. You're making yourself too available for her -- makes you look needy. It should be the other way around. You can't reel her in cause you keep going around…

Either way, you have friendzoned yourself. You keep passing up all the opportunities she's giving you from the beginning (even when you guys were just hanging out). Be more aware of the IOIs and learn to escalate.
/r/seduction06/02/11 12:57 PM

How would you go about escalating? Would it be a combination of kino (following DEL) and quit banter/teasing? I ask cause i encounter these situations but I'm stuck at the dancing part.

Get out of your comfort zone at least once a day. This could mean taking a new hobby, trying new cuisines or as simple as saying hi to a stranger on the street. Baby steps. Stories will spawn out of these interactions.

Don't put her in the pedestal, by that I mean, treat her like any friend you have. Don't go and wait for her to suggest where to go. She should be glad that you're giving up time to spend with her. Since it's your first, just relax. Don't plan things to the finest details. Just have an idea of where you want to take things. And ESCALATE on touching.

It was clear from her conversation that she's not really interested -- mentioned her boyfriend. Dead end answers. Refusing to hang out with you. Leave this one alone and move to another girl. You might never know, this might make this girl jealous.

Observe. Comment on something interesting she's wearing -- use that to neg her. Comment on the place/environment where you're both at. Ask questions til you find a common ground, then a good flow of conversation should go from there.
/r/seduction29/08/10 02:02 AM

You became too available for her. You need to learn to back off a bit and cut back on the texting conversations. Gotta keep the mystery about yourself. How do you land her? Forget about her for the time being and start going out with other girls. Jealousy can be a good tool to get her back. Either way, look at it as if it's a win-win. You get HB9 or you don't, but you'll still land another HB. Although, I'd say, just chalk it up to lessons learned as lilsis has pointed out.

Sorry but your way of being 'alpha' makes you sound like an asshole. You can't just keep 'pushing' (in a push-pull), it'll borderline into being just plain harsh. Like lolbifrons said, you can't forget the 'pull' part. For me, the hard part is trying to calibrate it.

Hi, I'm BodaciousPie always works. David Wygant says that when we see a person we want to meet, we tend to think of something interesting to say to impress them, but really, the best way is to use your observational skills and just talk to them. You saw that she's with her family, ask if they go here often. How long they're staying. Don't think, just do it!

I am the same myself, I don't like gaming girls at clubs or bars. I go there to dance, meet people and have fun! I got into reading all these material to improve my conversational skills and confidence levels. I can proudly say that I'm a different person than before! I'm a lot more outgoing and less of a grounded introvert. I try things that I'd never do before. I actually go to a party where I don't know anyone other than one guy/girl and come out of it with NEW friends AND full of confidence.

Stop caring what other people think. Not just women, but everyone! When you do, you start to put constraints to yourself and thus limiting your capability to show who you are, what you're capable of. People will also try to break your ego, give you shit-tests, but really, you should stand unwaivered like the fit and attractive guy you are. I find this to be a great read.

Being someone who used to be the silent one in the group, I can relate. I used to be the one who'd greet them, and then the conversation will die down unless they'd revive it themselves. I started off with doing things out of my comfort zone -- joining new clubs, going to parties to have fun and meet people, and most importantly, forcing myself to have conversations with people. This allowed me to expose myself to new things and new topics to share. Because of these, you'll be able to relate to …

I disagree. She clearly has drawn a line between wanting to date you. You didn't make it clear at the beginning that you guys were going on a date. Now that you made the move, she got caught off guard. I'd say just move on to another girls, there's plenty out there! Last thing you want to happen is her stringing you along til 'she's's ready'.that's beta behaviour.

Hold on, isn't the perception we're trying to avoid is not being too available or else we'd just end up being like any other friend. I think this is what's confusing me, whether I'm coming off too friendly. I just want to be 'friendly enough'. You don't have to answer this, I think it's up to me how to gauge it.

I'm still tossing between the option of getting her to drive to a meeting place. It's just that I don't want to seem like a 'provider' to her. You're right though, at least she'll need to thank me for something. But that to me is bordering just being a 'friend'.

If a girl likes you, she calls you. She randomly text messages you. She makes alternate plans if things don't line up. It's no different than a friend, but the relationship has the added element of it "being on fire/attraction." So are you saying that by doing that, she's showing that she likes me or trying to be just friendly? I guess it can go either way really. All very great advices! I'm a very sociable person, as a matter of fact, I tend to talk and joke a lot with people (and incorporate push-pull). But see, with friends, I don't care about the result of my teasing. The problem is that when I'm interested in a girl, for some reason, I just become more conscious of how I project myself to her --- my jokes, push-pulling, touching, etc gets put in a magnifying glass and I end up messing it up. You've already mentioned one of the most important things you need to do, but haven't done. Kino. I'd suggest reading intjpua's post regarding kino: http://www.reddit.com/r/seduction/comments/bpx0p/exercise_touch_everyone_you_talk_to/ For me, the trick is not to be conscious on the fact that I'm touching the person. Anyway, a lot of girls that are pushy like the girl you're talking about just aren't used to people ignoring them or dismissing them; so when you willfully ignore them, it's a shock. If she's hot, it's even better, because she's really not used to it, and you're response will have more power because of it. After watching the Megan Fox video, I can see how this'll work.
