Tonight I went out after work with HB8, beautiful asian woman with incredible intelligence. Intimidating woman whose cunning stuns men into submission. Tight situation, negotiating with her team on high-value proposition. Afterwards, she leaves and I wait for her. Tell her to walk with me, then ask if she saw the eclipse. Explain what it looked like.

At bar. HB8 has been joined by 2 friends. I know one, and also know that we can only be competitors for this prize at this point. At first we try to talk over each other, making both of us look bad. I start to speak only to him, about things he likes. Slowly, conversation is smoothed over between whole set.

Begin discussing travel. Explain value; why has she not? Etc. Says she has family in Asia and has been there. Set decides time to go. We finish our beers. Walk out, I ask her to stay around for one second, I have a secret for her. Hand her my phone, say nothing. Take off bike lock; turn around to see two different numbers entered by her, she says I can reach her at either (?).

I fucking blew ball sack at kino tonight though. She was digging me, but other guy was just huge, huge cockblock. No way to escalate, bar empty but for us. Never do that to another person. Still, good work, just hoping for the GG next time.
