Last night I met up with the same girl from this FR. The date went pretty much as well as the first. It isn't a typical FR because I feel like we're advancing into an actual relationship really quickly, so I'm not really gaming her, so to speak, but I would still like to impart a few things.

After Day 1

First of all, my text game was not "textbook" at all. I immediately started texting her Sunday, and we talked pretty much all day on and off. During the week it was much more sparse because of work, but still texting pretty much every day. While I would not recommend this in most situations because it can come off as needy/clingy/DLV, because of how well the date went and how much we connected on a personal level, I knew it wouldn't hurt me at all. In general though, before a day two (or day one for an online find) I would recommend complete radio silence apart from logistics on meeting. Lesson: In general, texting should be cut to a minimum, but when you've established a strong connection with a girl, there's nothing wrong with texting often. Don't over think the timing. It's much more about content than when you text her.

Day 2

We met up in Seoul and went to get some Greek food. As soon as we met, I made sure to pick up right where we left off. Kissed her and started walking hand in hand. Found the restaurant and connected over work and her travel experiences in Greece. Talked about school as well. Let her know I had a surprise in store for her before the concert we had planned on attending. Let her stew in the suspense to keep her on her toes. Lesson: I absolutely hate dinner dates if you don't have a connection with a girl. They're boring, often offer no opportunity for kino, and will generally lead nowhere. I'd been on lots of dinner dates during the week and they were shit. Time constraints left no room for a second venue. However, once you have that connection, a nice dinner is a fantastic way to get to know the girl better, find common interests, experiences, etc... and really determine if she's the kind of girl you want to be spending time with.

Surprise and Spontaneity

When we got to the college party area, I led her to a place I'd heard about on reddit. It was a small shop that sold prints of classical paintings like Van Gogh, Warhol, Monet, Lichtenstein, etc... that have been altered to include Simpsons or Star Wars characters. Great little shop. Chatted with the owner about art, his interests, etc... Lesson: Always be on the look out for cool spots most people wouldn't know about. Talk to owners. They're a great way to DHV. Show genuine interest in other people. Ask for their opinions or recommendations. There's nothing wrong with asking for help or guidance.

After that, I got a sudden idea to head to a chocolate shop I knew about. They make their own gourmet chocolate in house. I'd been there once a year ago, so I wasn't even completely sure where it was or if it was still open, but I just grabbed her and started walking. Found it and picked out some chocolates to share. It was great. Lesson: It was honestly an unplanned thing for the night. It just came into my head because we happened to be in the area. Always be open to changing your plans on the fly. It's a great way to introduce fun.

Concert

Get to the venue, which is absolutely packed. As soon as we went down into the stairs to the basement, she grabbed me and initiated a make out. Always enjoy that. The opening band was decent. Kinda reminded me of a mix of Pearl Jam vocals with RATM instrumentals, particularly guitar. Danced and made out a bit. The headliners came on and it went wild. The crowd was too crazy to really interact that much. Mostly just dancing and enjoying the time together. A little kissing, but it was honestly a little hard to stay together long enough, haha. Lesson: For dates, always have a stand out event. It doesn't have to be a huge thing or crazy, but make sure it's something fun and different. Other things can lead up to it or follow, but it should be the reason you're inviting her out.

Drinks

We went to the bar upstairs for happy hour after the show. Traded rounds. Chatted about various shit. Me moving to Seoul was a big topic about how I was a bit nervous moving to a big city and leaving all my friends behind, but I had demonstrated a lot of social proof the week before (read the FR) which had obviously impressed her, and even during our conversation, random Korean people approached me to say that they'd seen me at the concert -- my date and I were literally the only two white people in a crowd of probably 150 people, so we stuck out, and I'm pretty sure the lead singer saw us making out and started talking about us and how we made him sad he broke up with his girlfriend. Pretty funny.

We played the question game. I asked her about her best first date, and she told me all about our date the week before. It was such a huge ego boost. Obviously I expected her to talk about it, but hearing it from her made it even better. I requested songs for the DJ to play while it was slow and we sang along, it was real cheesy. Again she hit me with the "I should catch the last train" line, but I just responded, "No, you shouldn't. Stay out with me." and after about one minute of consideration, she decided to stay out with me again. She tried telling me she honestly planned on going home early, but I highly doubt this. As people start to roll in and dancing started to happen, we joined in. Periodically, I'd leave her alone to request a song, go to the bathroom, etc... and I'd come back and someone would be hitting on her. I'd just wordlessly come up and pull her close into me and make out with her. Boss style.

While we were dancing and joking around, she made that Mr. Burns "excellent!" gesture:

Me: I didn't know I was dating Mr. Burns.

Her: Who says we're dating?

I just smile and maintain eye contact without answering

Her: Okay. I'll give you that much.

Lesson: Sometimes the best response to a shit test is just a silent, confident smile. A lot of people don't know how to handle it, and will start talking again to fill the moment.

The Rest of the Night

We went to one more bar after that. Nothing real super special happened. Dancing. Make outs. The funniest thing was a guy who tried to dance up on her while I was there. He came up and started dancing with me, arm around my shoulder, then tried to pull her in. She just laughed him off and pulled herself into me, and he danced away. We shared a good laugh about it, but honestly, it wasn't a bad idea. It's safe to assume a very high percentage of girls in clubs aren't with the guys they're standing next to. Lesson: A girl with a guy next to her doesn't necessarily mean she's off limits. Feel free to approach. If they are together, just play it off as a friendly encounter. No biggie.

Again, we went to a DVD room. She had told me earlier in the night we weren't going to have sex, but had the movie been about half an hour longer, we probably would have. By the end she wasn't wearing much in the way of clothes. Wore matching lacy black bra and panties. She certainly didn't wear those with the intention of having me NOT see them. Go home early my ass. Unfortunately, neither of us live in Seoul, and I have never used hotels there, so logistics aren't ideal. Next month I'll be living there though, so no big deal. Lesson: Logistics. Figure them out. This definitely would've been an F-close if we had a proper place to do it.

We ended on some Taco Bell and coffee. She agreed to come visit me in my town next weekend, so we went to the train station and bought her advance tickets. While we were waiting around, she told me about how pleasantly surprised she is. She went into it expecting a "best case" -- that she'd find a platonic friend to go to concerts with, and "worst case" she'd bounce after ten minutes. However, after I had my say I flipped her world around. She also mentioned how physically attracted she is to me. That felt pretty amazing as well. Coming from a guy who used to be seriously overweight, and even after a good two years of being single and going out with decent success, it can still be surprising for a girl to compliment my body.

Conclusion

Like I said, I feel like this is a bit different from other FRs because this is a girl I know for certain I have in the bag, and not just for an F-close. It's got the feeling of a relationship that's starting really well, and it will probably be an official thing after this next weekend. Still, while the game changes a bit once you've got a certain amount of attraction and comfort built up, there are some basics that are always applicable. Once you start dating a girl doesn't mean you should revert to AFC ways.
